Glad I’m not the only one on here still playing FEH daily out of force of habit alone, haha. Considering that the recent game additions haven’t really interested me at all, and that I have yet to put any cash in (only gobs and gobs of time), I feel like I’m spiraling closer and closer to my eject point.

As with the past two weeks, I’m completely hooked on Cartoon Network Match Land, playing it several times a day just to grind some loot and level up my team. Mostly, though, I’ve been pleasantly falling deeper and deeper into Switch eShop sales, finally biting the bullet and picking up both Super Beat Sports and Gracef

This weekend I’ll primarily be playing Persona 4 Golden. I just got the ability to visit the city, it seems, and participated in a delightfully weird little pickup line sidequest (that ended with some unfortunate body shaming, womp womp).

I’ve been kind of wanting to play Persona 5 again, but Atlus is prone to releasing improved versions of their titles down the line, and it would be very easy to burn out on such a long game and end up missing out on new content later. So instead, I picked up Persona 4 Golden on my Playstation TV. Obviously a step back

Less than 24 hours after I was here on ‘AV Games’ (why?) pretending to complain about not having the time to play a game where you kill the same damn enemies over and over again, here I am now, about to post about playing time consuming goon-killing games over and over. No consistency!

Having not played much during Easter week (as I was away from my computer), I was back in DA:I again. Took down a couple of dragons, including one with electricity attacks (mixed feelings about that, obvs), attended a fancy party, and went into the Descent DLC as well. But then at 1am one morning and wanting to go to

It’s doubly a shame because, for my money, GOW 1+2 are hugely better games than 3. Sure, the spectacle is bigger and crazier, but I always felt the pacing was way off and the level design was just boring.

Ok, well that’s something I guess.

All I can say to that is welcome to Gameological! Wait a minute, what the hell is ‘AV Games?’ What happened to Gameological?

Incidentally, I strongly disagree with the assertion that the ending means Joseph was somehow “right”, or that it would have been better to let him run rampant all over Montana.

I’m with you fellers. Crash was an attempt to combine a rail shooter with a platformer, and especially in those nascent days of open exploration 3D games, it was very disappointing from a gameplay standpoint. I’ll admit that I’m generally more forgiving of games than I used to be, but I also recognize that those types

I did some digging and apparently it’s an Ice attack. Looking at the list of spells in that game I just laughed because yeah, I know what Flaeli is NOW, but there’s no easy way to come into the game cold and just know by looking at it.

There are probably some skills I don’t really recall. I know Foi is fire, Wat is water, and.. there’s other stuff.

The whole visual aesthetic is so awful. I get that for SCEA he was a great foil to out of touch Nintendo in the 90s, but he’s horribly ugly, and watching footage of the remakes I couldn’t fathom what was supposed to be fun about that kind of platforming.

I am skeptical of all of these remasters because they do not mean anything to me, but I’d be crying tears of stupid joy if they remastered my favorite games, so more power to the fans. Also Spyro is much less awful than Crash. I do not understand Crash. I did not understand Crash before. But Spyro... I feel like Spyro

We’re resurrecting the Mario Kart 8 tourney for Sunday, April 8th. Don’t be Shy(Guy), come have a good time with Gameologicians!

I finished Resistance: Fall of Man a week ago and moved on to Resistance 2.

It’s been a while.
