Is it really “breaking” the game when the game is designed with these insanely OP combinations in mind, and fully expects you to utilize them? If your enjoyment stems from finding these powerful combinations, then BD is the series for you, but if you just want to feel so OP that you literally cannot lose, then maybe

If “being forced to strategize” is a turn-off, then maybe this genre is just not for you. And that’s fine, honestly. But acting like that’s somehow a failure of the game is missing the point entirely.

Honestly I think it would be far more important to just make a good battle system that still feels like Final Fantasy. I mean, I get that the Devil May Cry guy is doing the battle system, and he probably doesn’t have much experience with menu-based systems, but if they learned anything from XIV, it should be that the

Google Stadia is a cautionary parable against any big non-gaming tech company ever getting into gaming. If your goal as a company is to make a quick buck off of the booming industry, don’t. You are NOT needed.

Is 2021 the year I become an alcoholic? I guess so!

I wouldn’t know about Octopath, since I played it with Japanese voices. As long as this game has that option, I’ll be okay, but it really seems like a game that should be getting the FFXII treatment. I mean I get that budget constraints are a thing and all, but given the success of Octopath and the VERY WELL KNOWN

The problem there is that it’s rarely, if ever, done “right”.

It definitely doesn’t. I could not bring myself to get into either of the Tactics Advance games. They are not part of the Tactics series to me.

Awesome, now the haters have absolutely no excuse to be haters! NOW IS THE ERA FOR MANDATORY APPRECIATION OF SKYWARD SWORD!

I mean, this looks cool, but:

Fucking for real though. I mean, this looks cool and all, but they are now literally going out of their way to REFUSE to make a proper Final Fantasy Tactics sequel... which is what pretty much everyone has been begging them for for like, what, at least a decade now? Come on, Square. This is just getting shameful at

I genuinely think that FFXV is a worse game than FFXIII in many ways, but FFXV at least has more “Final Fantasy” DNA in it than FFXIII in my opinion. I mean, that doesn’t have much bearing on quality, but they explicitly set out to make FFXIII its own flavor rather than the established one, whereas FFXV was made by

Anyone else struggling to apply the code?

FFXIII really is the red-headed stepchild of the franchise. It is easily the least Final Fantasy-like Final Fantasy, and as such I always find myself wondering how much better received it would have been if it simply... weren’t a Final Fantasy game. Maybe if it weren’t tied down by the “Final Fantasy brand” then it

I still know plenty of people who literally cannot even get the launcher or storefront to work, so no. Achievements are one thing (and if Nintendo is any proof, it is by no means a requirement for success); being able to literally use the thing at all is another entirely. The demand for the EGC is STILL being carried

I don’t really consider (or think anyone else considers) Valve to be a “major player in the console controller market”. That’s kind of just true by default, but also, no one liked those godawful Steam controllers anyway.

Uncut. Just like the Lord intended.

Nearly all of the major console controllers have used the same analog tech since at least the PS3/360 era. There has been no real push to change the technique because, for the overwhelming majority of people, it’s not a problem, and no one is really interested in investing in re-inventing the wheel to solve a

The dog was obviously a drug dealing rapist. They have tons of footage of white women to prove it!

You know, these “exclusive” deals wouldn’t be nearly as painful if Epic would actually bother to build a halfway-functional launcher/storefront. Which would cost them a fraction of a decimal of a percentage of the cost of ANY of these exclusivity contracts. Honestly, it’s just embarrassing that they still haven’t done
