@reducks: Are you on crack? They advertise to people who shouldn't play it, and if you are old enough to buy it and think the ad is aimed at you I'm really sorry, but why on Earth do you care what your mom thinks of the games you play?

I don't want a game because my mom won't like it. Hell, if I wanted every game my mom didn't like I'd want 99% of the games out there.

I often wonder how Xbox Live would be if Microsoft took a big old hammer and banned douchebags(think of how kotaku bans) or has some system to get rid of them starting right after the birth of Xbox Live.

@Piemonkey: Someone above me said it shouldn't be called a video game writing award if not considering the game itself and I agree with him/her. If they changed the name I wouldn't be as upset :D

@William Henry Harrison: Nailed it. The story was made for that game. If it suddenly sucks when playing the game it shouldn't be rewarded.

@Piemonkey: Yea, but I think how they execute that writing in game is crucial. I don't want a game to win an accolade for writing if the writing was great but suddenly didn't fit when playing the game. They wrote that story for a game, play the game. At least that's how I look at it.

Giving awards without playing the game? That's silly.
