I was reading an article about how they are proud they didn't release the game(actually, it's the article linked here). That would be great and all if NBA 2K11 didn't release an (apparently) amazing game in the amount of time Elite had.

Mercenaries 2 had one of the worst control schemes imaginable.

@ZachQuest: They tried to go mainstream with their gameplay... umm Halo is mainstream and has been since Halo: CE. Please actually explain your logic; you didn't back anything up.

I don't want the games to be cheaper! I want them to be longer.
