A research study was done years ago (and reported on in Sports Illustrated - might want to look back 40-ish years, BTW) that tried to determine a ranking for different types of sports. The #1 sport was wrestling (greco-roman?) and - tada! - the #2 sport was fencing.
I never put my hand over my heart for the national anthem though I do stand - and almost always do for the Pledge of Allegiance (however, I never say “, under God” since that was a McCarthy-ite addition I disagree with).
