Averages are not always good measures, and can actually be quite deceptive. And for most people making the average or lower pay they should think of cars as depreciating transportation appliances. Not toys, hobbies, or places of comfort/luxury.

No, because you don’t have to buy new cars.
Well, here’s that $30k Tesla they promised us years ago...
We already know what poor people buy. Nissan Sentras & Altimas, Kia Fortes, etc.
The Nissan whatever and terrible driver and/or low credit score joke has been around here for years. Last week was what is the best first car for a teenager. I think you are reaching for outrage on this one.
Old is not an ethnicity. You may not know this, but all people age. Way to tell on yourself, though.
“Much cheaper” is only $1,500 and only if you qualify for the full tax credit.
Each of the Big 3 is in a different position on Hybrids.
You lost the argument at 100K miles haha. What you describe counts as very reliable.
He *use to* work in theater gigs, hasn’t owned a car in years, and now has a commute in Maryland. He needs a car, and $25K is about as practical a price point you can get for someone with a full-time software job -- he didn’t say that he wants to work on his car on the weekends, so a $10K car is not an option.
You know who should buy this, is someone who already has one. Put a tarp over it and save it for when your daily needs bits.
If was given $100k and told I could use it to either buy this and a VinFast VF8 as my 2-car garage or get a few minutes of entertainment by throwing the money in a pile and setting it on fire, I would grab the lighter fluid and make s’mores.
Did they remember the price has to be small too?
Just don't go full on David Tracy
You shouldn't be allowed to graduate until you understand how compound interest works either.
To be fair people who blame the president, regardless of party, for directly affecting things like the economy or gas prices are pretty dim.
I learned a shit ton in Econ 101. It should be required in High School - and graduation denied if you don’t pass it. Then folks would stop blaming Biden for the inflation spike in ‘22.
Man, I barely passed economics (in my defense it was an 8 AM class and the professor was BORING). But even my “Curve starts with C” ass could see this coming.
Getting past the security checkpoint is one thing, but how the hell do you get on the plane without a ticket? I mean they scan all of the boarding passes on your way onto the plane.
Dude asked for an opinion and the Church of Jalop answered. You got it wrong, the majority likes SUVs, they don’t like crossovers =)
