Is it really a throwback if it’s never been changed? I think the point of the article is to find small references to things that once were present but have gone away (eg Corvette waterfall, 911 ducktail), not a fundamentally unchanged design (eg LR Defender, Mercedes G Wagon, Jeep Wrangler).

The salt in Utah is boned so running there isn’t an option at the moment for damn near anything let alone this monster.

No tires - more like solid machined aluminum disks

some links to pictures of TVIS bits under the intake

I know if the TVIS diaphragm plays up you get some fun noises. It’s under the intake, probably better getting under the car or taking the intake off. Only other thought would be a vacuum leak somewhere. Maybe try finding it with Throttle body cleaner etc.

Lucky bastard. Most of the Prii I see are doing 64mph in the left lane

if it’s an AW11, there is also an inner rack bush (on the long side of the rack) that wears over time. Here’s the part number for the Right hand drive version, shouldn’t be too hard to find the LHD type if that’s what you have using ToyoDIY etc.

The interview boy says it was a problem with the bendy link part of the bus and so the bus couldn’t move straight.

They should have seriously charged the individuals involved with hiding and knowingly approved as a defected product. Fuck you GM employees who designed and approved this shoddy product. The blood of the individuals deceased because of your design will be permanently splattered on you. And fuck you too Mary Barra for

Nah, Internet has moved onto Clock Boy

What’s ironic is that you see Volkswagen and BMW struggle to compete with the S-Class, yet Daimler faces that same struggle when it pits its Mercedes-Maybach against Bentley (VW) and Rolls-Royce (BMW) models with far more exotic and desirable badges.

I am also a big fan of Bergsma. My Benz is newer than the ones he works on, but many of the things that he goes over in his videos can by applied to my car. I would love for him to make videos of more recent models.

It's a much better all around car than the Hellcat, IMO. Problem will be trying to get one without a huge dealer surcharge.

But only because it stole it from the 1960s

Still looks like it could [should] roll off the factory floor.

There is a reason you can find low mileage ‘95s with issues. Be glad you have a ‘96!

That whole “No reserve, nobody outbid you, but you still didn’t win” business sounds really shady. Isn’t that a violation of contract law or something?
