The dealers will say they buy what the customer wants and the customers say they wish they had more selection. A few years ago there was a great article in the SL Market letter, from one of the paint manufacturers detailing what colors for that year were the most popular going down to the least popular.
Still the Giant Killer!
Mitsu has always made good cars so why the perennial problems in the US? lack of dealer structure?
I’m thinking of an 80,000 lb truck just cruising merrily on its way and then thinking of Steven Spielberg’s first movie, Duel
Looks like an AMC Gremlin mated with an Avanti
Citroen’s were always hampered by a very weak dealer organization - like Alfas.
What amazes me more about the cheat was the audacity - assuming that nobody ever in the US would discover the deception.
In reading the law (told on a talk show) technically VW wasn’t even cheating - the law as written by the EPA states that all emissions equipment should be functioning at the time of the test
Looks like this seller is taking a contrarian approach

I doubt they’ll ever be able to make another movie like it with actual scenes and drivers intermixed with…
Thanks Senn!
Graffito seen in the restroom at Laguna Seca: “Porsche 911 - the result of VW engineers with too much time on their hands”
Thanks Senn - but I replaced that a couple years ago. Now if you have any ideas for this sound-like-a-jet taxiing noise that seems to come from the Throttle Body (but can’t isolate it) - has everyone in the MR2 community stumped :-)
BTW I had a bear of a time replacing that bushing - such an innocent looking part,…
Believe it or not I have never seen it. Now you got me curious. Of the race movies I have seen my favorite is the cult classic The Gumball Rally. So many great lines, and the stars of the show aren’t really the people but the cars....
