<3 It's thanks to my dad, too!
I’m here for this Kon(g)tent.
OG Godzilla fan here. I legit loved this movie.
Good luck. I’ve heard the second can be pretty rough.
I work for a university, so I went to the site they had set up for all university staff who hadn’t been vaccinated yet to get it, and I was amazed at how efficient the whole thing was. In-and-out with zero waiting aside from the mandatory holding period.
I got my first Pfizer dose last Thursday. The shot itself didn’t hurt too much, but I’m not too big for my britches to admit that my arm was sore as hell the next morning.
Thanks for this article. I’m not sure what the context would be, but I hope to bump into Dr. James someday.
This. Car. For. Sale. Very. Cheap. Very. Good.
I did the same thing in 2019. I still think Vs. Biollante is my favorite.
The Godzilla series is easily my favorite film franchise, and a lot of that is due to it really being the first series to catch my attention as a kid. I think my father brought home King of the Monsters when I was 5, and I’ve been hooked since.
Rodan and War of the Gargantuas are both wonderful films and easily stand among the best Kaiju flicks ever.
This sounds pretty interesting.
I absolutely have a soft spot for practical effects and think, when done well, they look better than CGI. Despite their reputation as cheesy B movies, a lot of the old Godzilla films have genuine craftsmanship behind them.
I haven’t liked Season 6 as much, but there have definitely been some highlights. The episode when they flood the store was hilarious.
Well, unlike The Office, Superstore is actually funny.
Oh, I remember that one too. Godzooky definitely had a Scrappy Doo vibe, but at least a lot of the monsters were memorable.
The animated Godzilla: The Series came out that same year, and based on the Kaiju forums I lurk, tends to be more highly regard than the foolish Roland Emmerich blockbuster it followed. I re-watched the animated series a few years ago and was impressed by the creativity behind a lot of the monster concepts.
I got an ad for horse feed once. I do not and have never owned a horse, but my phone may have heard me say, “I’ve got a horse on the back of my sweater.”
I credit O'Brian, Harryhausen, and Eiji Tsubaraya for a lot of my love of sci-fi, horror, and creature features. When I was a kid, there weren't a lot of Godzilla films easily accessible on home video, so I wore out these two clip movies that were just compilations of old monster movie trailers. I think one was called…
