IMO, the whole game is about failure and redemption. The king fails. The champions fail. Link fails, and Zelda fails. The ruins you constantly encounter throughout the game are reminders of your failure, as are the Guardians still skulking around. But the game reminds you that there is life after failure with the

You pretty much nailed my thoughts on them. I’d just add that War is way more interesting as a protagonist than Death. Death’s characterization is mostly milquetoast, and I recall thinking during the mission on Earth that it made zero sense for him to say he’d happily stay and help the angels fight.

Hopefully it gets ported to Switch!

I’ve only played for a bit today while on bathroom breaks, but I felt zero temptation to use any leaf tickets. Like you said, it sure felt like old Animal Crossing mechanics to me.

Now playing

I’d like to toss my hat into the ring with this.

I’m buying it, so I guess it’s for me.

This goes deeper than what they teach you in school, mate.

I’m really not sure what else there is to do in the StarCraft universe, unless they churn out more small, character focused campaigns like Nova: Covert Ops.

YOU CUT THAT OUT! CUT THAT OUT RIGHT NOW!

I played Warframe regularly until just before they added the wings. I just didn’t have the time for the grind anymore.

I kind of suspect they may do some sort of Season 2 Pass for BotW rather than give us a full-blown new game with re-used assets.

I think it was the “you’re a monster if you dislike the new mario” article

The last game of Civ V I played, I decided to go for a culture victory since all of my previous plays were conquest-style. I was doing great at pacifism until Mongolia attacked me for some reason. Little did they know that despite my pacifism I had been stockpiling bombers, so I quickly wiped them off the map in just

I couldn’t believe how much play I got out of the relatively simplistic Hyrule Warriors. Like you, I probably clocked about 200 hours and didn’t even fully clear the first Adventure Map, even if I did technically beat it.

I put approximately 200 hours in Hyrule Warriors, but I’m a little iffy on this. I wish the character pool went more beyond the most recent titles and featured way less sword wielders.

Eh, Book of Souls has a few decent parts, but it’s way too long and meanders a ton. Plus Bruce’s voice wasn’t fully recovered from cancer, and he strains quite a bit to hit his high notes at various points.

Same. Very glad to see Switch mentioned.

It may interest you to know that the idea of a ring of power, like a lot of other things in The Hobbit, is partially inspired by Norse mythology, especially the legend of Fafnir.

Don’t you put that evil on me.

But but but don’t you know Nintendo is the next Sega? /s
