A couple years ago my uncle was one of the mounties who brought out the Grey Cup, he was super stoked.

Thank you sir, I seriously don’t know how he’s employed. However, many gritty aging veterans on the downside of their career thank their lucky stars he is. Not only does he sign them to bloated comically optimistic contracts, but he’s also a useful foil with which to drive-up up a bidding war. The perfect example

Part of me thinks that the Oilers’ puck luck has been bad thus far, and that they can turn it around (I think they currently have the 7th worst PDO in the league). The other part of me understands that Peter Chiarelli is a dumbass and whatever good McDavid Draisitl and the Nuge bring will be outweighed by the stupid

To be honest most of the time I’ve spent in Quebec City has been around the Frontenac.

He’s not entirely, its a pretty spicy topic these days.

That’s pretty accurate, though Quebec City isn’t so bad.

It always boggles my mind when people assume French-Canadians are similar to French people from France. Its like comparing someone from upstate New York to someone from London.

^ this dumbass (dwaynepumpkinspicetacos) probably likes golf and baseball

ur dumb n st00pid

That’s a good point, the Knights’ sweaters kind of look like off-brand German sweaters.

The Vegas Kings’ uniforms remind me of the uniforms in Oliver Stone’s “Any Given Sunday”, the name does too.

That’s exactly why I got my subscription, most of the mainstream sports media has minimal, or bad hockey coverage, and I’m willing to pay the subscription fee for high quality year-round hockey coverage.

No dumbass, that’s Tawwwwmy from quinzeee

I am an Athletic subscriber and from my perspective there are many great columnists. I would also wouldn’t characterize the writing as suiting the “Stick to Sprots” crowd at all.

The Athletic’s hockey coverage is excellent, I am a subscriber and I am extremely happy with their product. Also, the comment regarding Bleacher Report, and to a lesser degree SB Nation, being “empty calories”, is spot on.

Patrick Maroon never cracked 12 goals a year, until last year when he scored 27. I wonder why?

I’ll have to check it out, thanks for the tip!

KSK was the gotdamn truth... from the title to the Kommenterat, nothing matches it awesomeness, though DoorFliesOpen has made a valiant effort.

Can’t really say I disagree with anything you’re saying.

Sitting at my desk thinking about the courage it takes for these women and girls to come forward...
