That book introduced me to the concept of the "automat" which I thought was the coolest idea ever. I'm still sad I've never gotten to eat at one.
Okay serious/naive question time: I was told growing up that 10% was a normal tip and that 15% and above was for really great service. When did this change? Because I didn’t notice until I was told 10% was no longer acceptable and the norm was now 15%-20% of the bill. Were my parents just cheapskates or is this a…
We went to a place right by our local college once and waited over 40 minutes just for our menus. The only way we go them was when I got up and found some for the 4 of us, that's what finally got the server's attention. There weren't even that many people in the place, just us and maybe 10 other people. So I feel ya'…
I was lucky...I managed to sleep in between my irregular contractions in the hospital. Of course I was in labor for 40 hours, so I was dead tired.
If not, he really should. His real accent is much sexier.
You're forgetting about us normals in the panhandle though. We're all either part of LA or South Georgia really.
Don't forget that half the time the people making the news are Florida transplants, and didn't grow up here. It's not our fault that crazy finds us attractive!
Jamie Chung plays the best character on "Once Upon A Time". I don't care that she's supposed to be Disney's Mulan she's just SO AWESOME and I love her.
I would be surprised at how many clinics the South has, but I don't remember ever having a really good sex ed class so....yeah it makes total sense.
Nope, in the book the "Princess" is pretty much a figure-head to apease the poors who have no say in their lives.
I can't wait to see how people react to America Singer on TV...she was bad enough in the book.
That's because the stylist they used sucked. He never cared if he gave people a cut they felt comfortable maintaining, he just gave them whatever he wanted.
...whacks out the entire labia minora so that only the outer labia are visible, as smooth as plastic.
Hey, the reason I didn't read ASOIF is because I find the books really boring, but the tv show entertains me. There's not a problem with that as long as I don't say I know everything about ASOIF and ignore people who've read the books.
HAH!
I, a white girl, managed to dress up like Whoopi Goldberg in the 4th grade WITHOUT the aid of blackface. I wore clothes like Whoopi's and (tried) to make my hair look like hers, and everybody knew who I was. I should hope that people in their 20's would be able to figure it out.
I don't usally like the crazy new vamp mythos but this one was pretty good. I went into thinking it was crazy and would suck (hah!) and was pleasently surprised.
I found "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" over the weekend and almost finished the first season in a day.
