The tracker jackers are 15 ft away from Katniss, so she most definitely would have been in danger once the smoke wore off and they started to wake up. Rue points out the nest and danger to Katniss and then just melts into her tree. Katniss says her sole option is to send the nest into the Careers camp, otherwise

Yours is the best Spoiler Alert in the whole thread. Hearted!

I don't know if they where trying to make Rue more sinister, I figured they wanted to soften Katniss up so everyone wouldn't hate her. 'Cos Katniss without internal monologue seems like a shitty, conniving person. But yeah, that scene shouldn't have been changed.

But in the book Rue just shows Katniss the danger of the Tracker Jackers and Katniss decides to drop them on the careers on her own. I doubt Rue would have stopped her, but Katniss came up with the idea and executed it.

I remember going to see "Observe and Report" with my husband who has Bipolar Disorder, and as soon as Seth Rogan's character mentioned he had Bipolar Disorder and was off his meds, my husband got this OH SHIT look on his face and said "This is about to get really dark, really fast".

Praise Jeebus!

I bought the Mayo book when my 20-week friend said it was less intimidating and scary than the Expecting book. I like the photos so far, but I haven't really read it yet. Judging from everyone's advice, I will definitely avoid those sites while pregnant.

I like looking at the difference sizes (right now it's a lime!) but knowing what could go wrong would freak me out way too much.

I'm almost into my 12th week, so I suppose at at some point I should read some of these boards? I'm being pretty terrible so far though, I haven't even read any of the baby/pregnancy books yet.

Theon is such an arsehole. Somebody who's read the books please spoil it for me and tell me he dies. Please?

Spin pins are the best thing ever! Two pins hold a nicer looking bun for 8+ hours.

Oh yeah, I don't think that too many MRA groups exist in 'the real world', most seem to be internet based. Easier to hide behind a username that way and not own up to what they say.

Here are two of the articles about it:

Don't forget that the Southern Poverty Law Center labeled Men's Rights groups as a hate organization and specifically mentioned r/mensrights as a hate site.

When I used to work in after-school child care, we would play outside for 2-3 hours most every day. If the weather wasn't too hot and we had easy access to water and shade the kids (both genders) would complain when we had to go inside after being out for THREE hours.

Yeah I kept giving Matt the side-eye every time he called her Governor Palin. She did what, a month or two of actual work? It shouldn't count

Maybe because Sword and Laser is already part of it? Or maybe YouTube didn't like the name =D

You do know that Fringe is a sci-fi show as well as being totally awesome (not crap) don't you?

Thank god! I love my Spider-man to be sassy.

Our household is now a Pathfinder household. Which makes me sad, because I love Tieflings and they're not really in Pathfinder. But as long as I can play my Riggers in Shadowrun it's all good!
