He thinks it will somehow make him look skinnier.
Avenatti also looks like an elf.
Donald Trump - putting the ‘What neurosis?’ in ‘Wharton Business School’ since whenever his dad paid the school enough to let him attend commencement.
It’s pretty simple to understand - if Trump succeeds in his agenda, the country does not. He works mainly for himself, his kids, and his billionaire buddies, whose interests don’t normally align with 99% of the American people. So of course we don’t root for him to succeed.
Fuck off, no one owes that flabby dotard shit. It’s the other fucking way around. Fuck that bullshit about “he’s our president” and “equal time”. When he says or does something worthy of respect I’ll respect him, however I’m fully confident that day will never come. I’m totally fucking sick and tired of hearing you…
Dotardo lives within a teevee fantasyland where “ratings” are the only true measure of a person’s worth. He’s like a young child in the 1970s, blankly staring at the goober box on Saturday morning, absorbing crappy cartoons. TV is his best friend and most trusted advisor and a more pathetic spectacle I cannot recall.
I want the country to succeed. I do not want Trump to succeed. Because if he succeeds at what he wants to do, it will be worse for most people including myself.
“Crime scene” projected onto Trump hotel after judge allows Emoluments Clause lawsuit to proceed: http://hill.cm/kPR9Dmj
Amazon is one of the reasons the post office still exists so he’s wrong there.
Or like people saying that teenagers who barely survived a massacre that took the lives of 17 of their classmates should leave the law-making to the grownups.
I give 2-1 odds that Rosanne replaces Ben Carson as head of HUD when he gets fired in a month or two.
If Trump thinks Amazon pays no sales tax (it pays sales tax in 45 states) and that USPS loses money on Amazon (package delivery is one of its profitable businesses), I may be gaining a better understanding of why he has declared bankruptcy so many time.
I imagine that’s exactly the strategy, piss off the judge and then accuse him of bias to get a retrial and on and on until their client dies of old age without going to jail or settling with victims.
Yeah, especially bringing the motion after announcing it to the media. That really highlights how it was a very obnoxious publicity stunt. Sounds like Cosby’s legal team isn’t much better than Trump’s.
I can’t really imagine what their strategy is here.
This is literally like saying that law abiding citizens are too biased against criminals to be objective in a court room because of the fact that they are law abiding citizens.
Oh no! Because of his wife’s job he might have the implicit bias that rape is a bad thing! Maybe Harvey Weinstein or Brock Turner are available to preside, as a more impartial arbiter?
Their strategy was to find a way to get the judge to recuse himself. Whoever thought this would work is an idiot. Even if this judge stepped down, the next one is unlikely to look favourably on a rapist.
Y’know, it’s generally not a good idea to piss off your judge, and this really seemed unlikely to go their way. I can’t really imagine what their strategy is here.
