Is that Inspector Gadget?

You what???

Shane! Is that you???

Damn. So much for my talk show.

Ha! My pseudo-psychic-instability tells me you must live in an area that either stays cool all year long or an area with high humidity. Everyone living in desert-like conditions instantly recognized it as a sponge to wet in order to (attempt to) replicate the function of a swamp cooler.

I really wish the Kindle did that. It really seems like the most natural feature in the world.

Ha! That's exactly what I thought was meant by the title.

Ah, it wasn't quite as you say.

Most of those lunches looked completely appropriate for a, what, maximum 95 pound elementary school child? Nonetheless, they now have unlimited salad/vegetables, bread, and fruit. Still, it looks like Taiwan is the champion.

Nice! School lunches which look like real food rather than a bunch of "healthy" fast-food food-like products!

Your avatar is evil. That is all.

Same here. This would totally not work for a "crust-first" eater like me.

But what will protect my eyes while I'm making these goggles?

What? Next thing you're going to try to convince us that Africa isn't a country...

Sure, but on the very first day of school? Are there really schools that have students check out textbooks before school even begins?

At first I was all, "Woah, who brings a full backpack to school on the first day." And then I was like, "Woah! What's up with his backpack in 8th grade?" I mean, dude! Seriously! You don't even have textbooks yet!

Perhaps, but they're not functional in all cities. If I want to take the bus to replace my 20-25 minute commute across town, I'd have to leave at 11:00 pm and find a place to sleep for four hours in the middle so that I could arrive near work by 7:00 am.

I actually guffawed. Thank you for that.

In WI, yes, 82 is hot. On the flip side, they laugh when people in other states complain that freezing temperatures are cold.

First thought: Is there really a single person out there that doesn't already know this? I've known this since childhood.
