Since GT3 is becoming the spec of choice for the many of the endurance series, did you ask them if they have any plans at taking on some of the 24 or 12 hour races? I would love to be able to wave the Cadillac flag while watching the ATS-V on the high banks of Daytona as part of the GTD class.

My main concern is people keep going back to a pay-back period. No one upgrades from a V6 to a V8 and goes “Man, I just spent $2,000 more to get worse gas mileage!” They go, “I want the V8 for reason X, and I believe it justifies the added cost.” and that’s that.

The part of the equation that’s missing is residual value, diesels have incredible resale, which isn’t guaranteed, but has been a trend for quite some time.
