Hello Defender Fans!
I am looking for a family friendly overlander since we cant put a baby seat in a D90. I have been looking at the GX 470s and 460s.
Man that Ranger Raptor just looks so right to my eye, it was therefore very upsetting to learn that it might only be marketed outside of the states. Well if you go to Ford Australias website there is a video of a left hand drive truck romping in the desert of California...hmmm. Why even go through the trouble of…
I recall seeing a video about building Subaru motors a while back, try as I might I cannot find it. Does anyone know where it went?
Anyone have experience with these? Should I run screaming for the hills or seriously consider it?
I like the G we get in the states somewhat, this on the other hand ticks all the boxes...maybe not price.
Some impressive off road iron on my commute home. Photo taken from inside my Defender 90.
I mentioned that the wife and I may be getting our first classic...we did it!
Big News! The wife and I are taking the plunge into classic car ownership. 1973 Mercedes Benz 220, 53k origional miles and old dude owned! So excited!
So after watching every review on Youtube and reading everything I can find on the car, I finally saw a Cayman GT4 in the flesh today on the way to work. It looked fantastic! Compact and muscular. Not my favorite color but still fantastic!
So apparently the next generation Defender is slated to be made in Austria via Magna Steyr, the same company that builds G Wagons and Pinzgauers. That definitley gives me hope for a “true” defender in the future.
Recently Returned from a trip to Bali with the wife but made a stop in Sydney for a few days on the way home. What struck me most is their awesome selection of vehicles. Everything from America, Europe and Asia all mixed together in a climate with no rust issues.
Damn! Now this is the G Wagon we should have gotten here!
Greetings fellow Opponauts,
