Best race of the season.. probably best race in the last couple of seasons actually.

“Vettel passing into pole position so quickly I expected pixelated sunglasses and “Deal With It” to drop down out of nowhere.”
Worse yet are the people in the front of the line that stop too far back to trigger the light.
The same goes for the North Pole Special. Those were real stakes. I mean, Jeremy got shoved into 0 degree water and they genuinely had moments of real peril. The few written jokes were realistic enough that they didn’t distract from the story.
I find it ironic that this is the title image for this article. Maybe I’m alone in this, but I actually like Chasing Classic Cars, precisely because there is no fake drama, fake deadlines, or bullshit haggling over a fake deal. It may not have the flash or the excitement of something like Top Gear or the Roadkill…
Strongly agree. I’m tired of fake conflicts. I try to watch FantomWorks, but I want to punch every single one of those over-acting hacks, most especially the owner.
Get rid of the hot rodders. Seriously. The Hot August Nights crowd has destroyed car television in America. In fact, forget America entirely - let’s do a show about tuning and mods in other countries.
There are. Austal USA’s mobile yard builds the ships on semi-submersible barges in hangers. However, that’s a brand new facility. Marinette Marine was built during WWII. They’d have to tear down the entire shipyard and rebuild to do that.
Ships are supposed to be able to toss and turn. It’s normal, though not a desired way to travel! Ask a sailor who's been through the North Atlantic in winter.
Not really anything wrong with doing it this way. If the ship can’t survive that, then you don’t want it on open ocean anyway. If you’re really concerned, build it in a dry dock instead.
Stig Farms dude, stig Farms
Slight change of subject, but I had to say great screen name.
Damn, it’s a sad day for the entire motorsport community. There might be differences of opinion with how the sport is run now, and the direction to take it into the future, but I know that there isn’t a single heart out there that isn’t heavy upon receiving this news.
Was hoping for this man’s recovery even if it meant he would never drive an F1 car again at least he would have life. Very sad after effort he put in for Marussia’s points last season.

You’re going to shit yourself when you discover the chemical makeup of water.

I think Montoya’s idea to get rid of the sensors is great. Simple and effective.
Some poo’s come out!
1) DO NOT make the cars slower. NASCAR has been doing this steadily over the decades from a high in the 1980s, where it was not atypical to see laps clear 240mph, so you can imagine how fast the race average was, to cars struggling to clear 200mph, in qualifying, now.
