Gee, I wonder how a movie about three kooky Moms trying to “save” their sons from losing their virginity on prom night would be perceived?

I really do not understand why this movie exists in the U.S. at this point in time, then.

I think that is almost certainly going to be the ending, but that doesn’t cure having the entire movie be about the value of a woman’s virginity to me. The line that really clinches it is when John Cena’s wife asks if his father acted that way when he lost his virginity and he said his dad just high fived him.

Fucking really?

I used to joke that if I ever did find religion, I’d choose Buddhism. Then I heard about Myanmar. Now I’m just thinking Cthulhu is the way to go.

I thought that was implied...

And after thousands of people are dead and the killing tapers off, we’ll all read long-form pieces in The New Yorker about this, Netflix will produce a documentary on it, and a movie about it will win an oscar and everyone will say “Never again...”

Religion is a highly effective tool for dehumanizing entire groups of people. I have yet to see a government that hasn’t utilized it as such.

It was an “open secret” that Weinstein was a serial abuser and wasn’t even coy about it. Of course she knew. She’s the white Camille Cosby. But I’m sure she married Jabba the Hutt for love...

Now playing

And to bring the whole thing full circle:
