This is true and it’s sad, but I don’t know what the solution is. People don’t want to die. This shit is literally life and death for us - there is really no appropriate response.

I had the exact same reaction as you, both about the desensitization and hoping he pulled through instead of being a murder victim. I could tell he was most likely dead though. It looks like the ME in Miami has confirmed it now.

You know, I never did figure out what “insuring body parts” was supposed to ward against. Suing a person responsible for damaging that body part is an amazing use for that.
