It looks like it may be fixed, but if I tried to click The Root from the list at the top, with all of the other sites in a row, I would get an “unsafe site” error. So I would click a specific article from the dropdown instead, and that would take me to the site, then if I clicked from there to get to the homepage it

I am ok with this.

It’s too hard for me to even READ this. I don’t know how you were able to stomach actually being there.

It makes me sad that this is the only site under this umbrella that gives me an “unsafe site” warning when I try to click it. Can you guys have someone look into that?

Uh, yeah, they are. Get over it.

Because I am the executive determiner of my opinions, and I decree my belief that people who voted for and currently support Donald Trump are racists, and racists are people I refuse to engage with.

If it were really about “understanding perspective” we would be seeing much more exhortations to understand why people voted third party this time instead to avoid having to vote for either. But instead we need to talk to Trump voters? To gain what insight exactly? There is literally nothing to be gained in “learning”

I’m not sure what you don’t understand about “I have no interest in the logic of racism.” Yes, I am unwilling to ask about it. I do not find the motivation important.

I think that because I understand the definition of racism. Racists somehow don’t believe they’re racist. Shocking, I know.

Maybe why “they are okay with racism and bigotry”? Isn’t getting to the root of that a worthy pursuit?

I have recently ventured into the world of Stupid People, not in service of understanding Trump voters but that has been a byproduct of the experience.

In the world of anti-racism, this sounds like a great job for white people to take on. White people get to help and POC are relieved of the burden of pleading the case for their own humanity. Win-win.

I think you are splitting hairs. It is completely valid to say that having a president that is not reflected in the will of the majority of voters makes them an illegitimate president. We did not have this conflict previously because it just so happens that the electoral college votes were aligned with the winner of

I wondered about that, it’s so cliche. This brand of traditional sexism and general bigotry is just so boring, and it insists upon itself, the way it’s all so pat and fits right in like a glove. It exhausts me, just, like, why do you people still exist, die off already.

Now, is it that all writers plagiarize and they’re just picking on her, or she’s some vast outlier who continually plagiarizes despite that being a huge no no for anyone making a living via writing? Because it seems crazy that she could have such a history of doing this but her stuff still gets published.

Wow, I can’t believe somebody’s problematic history actually got them booted out of Trump’s government, considering it hasn’t worked on any of the others.

You flatter yourself if you think you can rook me into conversation. Good day.

I never consciously verbalized it, but it is so true that Michelle is what allowed us to trust in Barack. She was the heart of the team and in a lot of ways still is. I really believe Barack is happy to be her sidekick, though :)

I mean, this is a middle school teacher. Lacking further evidence we have no indication that she did not complete high school as a “mainstreamed” student, which would indicate her delays were not significant and otherwise generally invalidate your comment.

I stopped reading at the second paragraph. I cannot believe you have the unmitigated fucking gall to actually expend energy typing this kind of bullshit with the intent of sharing it with the public at large.
