Why would you need the steering wheel heated after more than 10 minutes? Are you driving with the windows open constantly in cold weather?

1000% disagree.
You didn’t include the Fuel Doctor? No myth list is complete without it :p
AWD cars with torque vectoring absolutely turn better while accelerating than cars that don’t... especially those without LSD... what kind of fucking clown show is this?
Depends on the system, but AWD can spread out the torque and basically avoid hitting the limits of your tires. It also helps if one of your tires slips, and moves to one of the 3 others.
I was, first of all, a German car fan. But once my skill advanced past “taking it to the dealer” and instead doing everything -and I mean everything- myself, I can’t stand them. Once you get into actually looking at the nuts and bolts of the design philosophies... there’s no comparison. You couldn’t pay me to own…
well, gotta say i love my 2012 xterra. its a manual, its quick, and it was 5k less than an equivalent 4runner. Its simple inside, but its a pleasant kind of simple.
So you’re telling me the left lane is for passing only, correctly cite that many states (my own included) have this on the books as law, but I’m to consider this a myth? It’s law here. You get ticketed for it.
Hell fucking yes.
I got my 2012 Altima coupe with the VQ V6 and a six-speed a couple of years ago because I was looking for a cheap sporty coupe with a manual transmission. The Altima coupe is drop-dead gorgeous (especially with the red interior), fantastically reliable, relatively rare (they made fewer than 3000 V6/6MT coupes over…
100%. Two Frontiers, a 78 Z track car (doesn’t really count considering the mods), a 350G, Nissan Sentra (a loooooong time ago), Nissan Titan, and generally they’ve been the best value; 90% of the reliability of Honda/Toyota without the premium price. I’ve owned a lot of cars including Toyota (Turbo MR2) and Hondas (4…
I ask sometimes and those driving a Frontier or Xterra just wanted to save money over a Tacoma or 4runner. Their words not mine.
Nissan is the Nickelback of cars. Everybody says they’re terrible but no one can really say why. I have owned Nissan products for 27 years and they are just fine - usually not the best but often the best value. I currently own a 2009 G37 with 140k miles that my wife bought new. It is comfortable, competent, and…
You don’t get better seats for the price of a Sentra or a base Rogue. Again, I’m tempted.
I mean, it’s not out yet but the 400z looks pretty amazing.
You typed that as if anybody could have trusted Nissan of the mid ‘00s to get it right. But Nissan knocked it out of the park.
Meanwhile the 400Z will be kicking ass. Wake up GTR fan boys.
This is the same problem the NSX has. The GTR and NSX have amazing brand equity among people who grew up with Gran Turismo. The Supra does too, but whereas the Supra is within reach of a good chunk of that generation, the NSX and GTR are aimed firmly at the pockets of someone who would buy a 911 of some variation. And…
I kind of wish Nissan would bring the GT-R down a few pegs and make it into Nissan’s Corvette, rather than their 911 Turbo S. The top of the line GT-R costs > $200k FFS.
The GTR is still a competitive offering. Used ones are pretty easy to find for around $60k and are still mega fast by anyone’s standards, plus the aftermarket has turned them into one of the fastest factory-based drag cars in history. Nissan has been steadily updating it as well - the exterior hasn’t changed much, but…
