They exist. I have one mostly stock on the stock turbos. I did the exhaust, intake and boost controller and sticky tires on the stock wheels but that’s it.

As someone who was harassed in a GM plant parking lot in the 80’s for driving a Pontiac Fiero, this doesn’t surprise me in the least.

I don’t think you’re giving Hert enough credit here. He regularly drives 500-600hp cars, which sure, aren’t 1000hp, but it’s far more than the average driver normally contends with. I’ve driven 500hp cars before (in the rain too!), I’d be fine driving this, but had I only stuck with 200hp SR20 S13s, I’d be unsure.

Modest chuckle. Disney “guests” wear whatever they damn well please, within reason. Disney “cast members” wear (including hair / facial hair) and do exactly what they are fuckin’ told, or they quickly are shown the secret door out.

Saw one not that long ago. Here’s my blurry Bigfoot photo since pics or it didn’t happen:

Huh? It hammered at $80k and didn’t sell because that was below reserve.

I drove one once! It was great:

You know what’s even more amazing than a super-modded Supra? A bone stock Supra. I don’t think I have actually seen one since the mid 90s. My mom’s co-worker had a Supra, and I thought it was the coolest car ever.

So no convertibles and skirting or the car won’t be able to go to the prom or be let into Disney World?

So they knew the deal was “drive an American car”, which they did, and they still deserve a ticket?

“Nice Malibu!”

I guess “domestic” actually means dull and value engineered? I always thought so, but it’s weird to see its proponents arguing the same.

I cannot imagine being so dedicated to such a shitty company.

I was wondering who would mention that the tweeter was a regular here a few years ago.

Friend in college removed all make and model badges from his CR-X and replaced them with Chevrolet and Astro badges so he could park in the much closer domestic lot. Parking lot attendants never caught on. One of them was heard to say “didn’t know we made this”. Another friend had a red Alfa Romeo GTV-6 and got a

Australia is part of the American South West in spirit if not by law.

Hah. My Ford Fiesta was built in Mexico, and I drive right past the Tesla factory on every trip I take to Silicon Valley.

The best part is, that Tesla is made in ‘Murica. A good portion of the domestic cars in the lot are made in Mexico and Canada.

Does that foreign lot include the Blazer, Equinox, Trax, Terrain, and some of the Sierra/Silverados?

16 mile electric range would get me to work and back. Guess I found my next daily.
