Real milk has fats and other materials that mellow coffee and tea. In particular, milk (and especially cream) counteract the tannins in tea.

It’s all good, Ken’s lack of bulge never stopped me from bumping my dollies’ smooth plastic crotches together as a kid while laughing aloud at how edgy I was.

Good wishes to you and your kitty. It’s so hard when they’re chronically ill. The cat that I inherited from my dad, but who lived with me for many more years than she did with him was sick from Day 1. Feline herpes then eye issues that became cancer. I loved her like crazy. In the end it was her kidneys that got her.

I’m feeling a little overwhelmed by all the different treatment options (I already have to give him insulin twice a day and the thought of giving him TWO medications twice a day for the rest of his life is somewhat daunting) but he’s a champ and my vet is great.
