The Walking Dead has many faults, but I've always appreciated how they shoot on 16mm. Really is a gorgeous format, though one of a very particular look and tone. What Lubezki is doing with digital in stuff like The Revenant is more exciting to me, honestly. 16mm has a timeless quality but the kind of shots that can be

They shoot Walking Dead on 16mm and it looks fucking chunky as hell at anything other than high bitrate 1080p downloads.

This kind of logic only applies if you're planning on shooting one film and one film only. If you're shooting things all year long, it makes infinitely more sense to spend that $13,500 towards a RED. Not to mention how much of a return on investment you'd get doing jobs with that equipment as a cinematographer.

Your comments read like that of a morbidly obese person typing in a windowless room.

You're telling me every shit you've ever taken has been on a toilet?

One thing I'll say is that Rupert Friend deserves way better material than this. Dude is an incredibly talented actor and it's sad that the only other significant role he's had over the last 4 or 5 years is that dogshit Hitman sequel.

Her actions aren't just unreasonable, they're impossible. Locking up everyone you don't like, straight up pulling guns on elected officials. 24 didn't even do anything like this. It's a full blown Black Mirror dystopia. Homeland has no idea what show it wants to be.

This entire season was only cool for Episodes 9 and 10. Almost everything else was trash. This was not a good season, easily the worst even if it's high points were better than last season's.

He died saving the life of someone who they're now propping up as the villain for the last two seasons. Not to mention the way we got to his final moment defied reality in every way imaginable (a military coup in broad daylight, lmao), and even beyond that all he had to do was pull a Jason Bourne and duck while

Eh, she still made the decision to do what she did and the show clearly is trying to set her up as the villain to take down next season. Too bad I don't give a shit now that Quinn is dead and Dar is presumably off the table completely.

You clearly don't know what you're talking about if you can't even pull up a single receipt. Typically when you accuse someone of being something, you have an example of them irrefutably being said thing to go with it.

Stop reading his reviews if you don't like them. Having an internet temper tantrum just makes you look sad.

Many a sexist comment? Show me one.

Well deserved grade. Just an utterly dogshit and illogical episode in every way, totally ruined whatever the season had going for it. Not just the absurdity of the assassination attempt, but the evil President shit afterwords. I get the Trump parallels but they didn't pull it off. Even 24 wasn't this bad.

Still trips me out that my friend created that murders began meme.

I wish movies today could be even half as badass. John Wick is the only character that comes close.

The GOAT opening action scene to this day. Just legendarily badass in every way with the coolest music playing in the background.

Beck is ten times worse than she is so I say go for it.
