I've always tried to defend this show but this season has been fucking trash, the worst yet, and that's saying something because last season had huge problems too. None of these were really hilarious, and only a few got chuckles out of me including the cold open. The toothless attempts at political humor are just pathetic, either go all the way or don't bother at all.

That's the thing, even if he were attractive he still sucks because his personality is either totally boring or actively repellent. And he's probably terrible in bed.

The show (at least as of the end of S2E1) sees Gus as a doofus who ultimately gets anything he wants, while it sees Mickey as a girl who has her shit together way more than he does but still needs and wants him and doesn't seem to get interest from any other men.

There really isn't. That's the main problem of the show, that she is somehow magnetically attracted to him and fawning all over him constantly (even when she's trying to hide it) and he just acts like a complete doofus.

I got through the first season of this but 15 minutes into the second season I don't know if I can do it. Gus sucks way too much.

Everything with Carrie here was terrible but Dar Adal being behind it was so hilariously evil that it somehow made it worth it. I love how he's always playing 4D chess and 2 steps ahead of everyone every single season, except for last season where the writers forgot who he is or something.
