The pimp-ass papal tracksuit gets the screentime it deserves.

The grandly theatrical Homily with Lenny framing himself as a silhouetted movie villain, complete with someone fucking with him with a laser pointer was just terrifying and hilarious at the same time. I said it before, but the way this show balances surrealist comedy and profound character drama is incredible. The…
You'll know within the first 30 minutes of the pilot if it's for you or not. This is a deeply polarizing show, as all great art is.
Fun fact: Jude Law has 5 kids across 3 women, and judging by the amount of work he's doing now is barely involved with any of them. If that's not American I don't know what is.
You can think however you want but if you want to understand the show, it's helpful to know it's a character study above all else. That's all.
Cromwell should get a supporting actor nod come time for the Emmys. Law puts in amazing work and seems like a lock for best actor IMO. The actors for Gutierrez and Voiello are also really great.
He's perfect for it, though. I've seen most of his films and this is probably the best part he's ever had.
Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Perfect header image.
"Problem", sure, but they now control the entire country and the Democrats control absolutely nothing. Republicans may be dumber than hell but they get in line no matter what. Democrats need to be coddled by as once in a lifetime politician to be bothered to vote. It's beyond infuriating.
He deserves way worse. Milo too. Scumfuck shitbags trying to live out their fantasies of being middle school bullies only far worse and far more craven.
Cool, thanks.
It happens later on and some people don't want the comments here to reveal anything at all about future eps, so I try to be overly cautious.
How do you spoiler tag text like that?
!!! FULL SERIES SPOILER !!!
!!! FULL SERIES SPOILERS !!!
They explain it later on. Some of y'all need some patience.
First off, you're judging the entire show based on its first episode, which you should know is absurd to do in 2017 when at least half of HBO's shows are like long films or novels that have to be judged in their entirety.
One of the many things I love about the show is how it goes against expectation like that. Half of the people in the comments here being baffled and bewildered means it did its job.
By the time it's over that nonsense will be done and people will either be raving about how much they adored this series or how much they didn't understand it at all.
