Shower thought:  Play 15 minute extra periods with 10 minute intermissions until someone scores.  Unworkable as well, since most teams do not go out to score.

That happens because of the ridiculously big ego of today’s hitters.  They will keep swinging at pitches out of the strike zone because they won’t take a walk.  They have to hit.
