Also, depending on exactly how you look at it*, there isn’t really a single African-American character. *Does Lucio (a Brazilian) count?

In my view, politics means something beyond political parties and governmental goings-on. It’s a mode of talking about basic rights, wellbeing included, that are tied to demographic and social realities (Government is just how we organize that). Inclusivity is a political value. It asserts that all humans are equal

This reminds me of when Microsoft researchers were developing wearable sensors that monitor heart and skin activity to determine mood. Their placement made a bra an optimal platform to hold those sensors.

This me. I hate 45, but I loathe this woman with every fiber of my being.

Just for clarification, the pronunciation of that would be “Fuck U.S.,” correct?

I’d genuinely feel better if she were doing it for the lols, since that would be indicative of low or nonexistent emotional empathy. I’d consider that a disability; she’d still be horrible, but I could comprehend her motivations. But she’s doing it because she has a Christian agenda. To borrow from the subtitle of her

Secondly, are we really going to forget that the federal government stepped in with that whole integration thing? “Very little to show for its efforts.” How transparent.

What would be feminist then? I mean, I can make an argument that sex with a man (or hell, sex at all) could be seen as anti-feminist. It wouldn’t be a good or sound argument, but it can (and has) been made.

Plus, the actual boob image looks more like a picture from a self-exam pamphlet.

Don’t kink-shame me.

I laughed more at this than any time that I have ever seen a show by Chuck Lorre.

Cassie’s comment was also what alerted me to Ailes’s death!

I cried when I watched that initial episode. Legit, 100%. It was the first time that I saw a female character who is openly autistic (as in it is clearly stated during the course of the series as oppose to hints or discussions outside of the show) that is also shown as a sexual person.

High-five, (assumed) fellow adult-diagnosed autistic!

One of the key traits for identifying autism is empathy, specifically cognitive. That’s the ability to intuit a person’s emotional state from their tone of voice, facial expressions, and stance. Autistics generally lack this innate skill and occasionally are coerced into learning by identifying patterns or statistical

I feel awful for knowing this, but his mother had him tested to see if he was insane. I had to take a similar test to work at nuclear power plants within the United States, and the criteria did not include anything for diagnosing or identifying ASD.

No need to follow up on the content of your comment, but I did want to let you know that I genuinely appreciate when commenters clearly tag/identify sarcasm. I tend to be very literal, so cues like that are very helpful.
