The other day someone I work with was carping about how Lizzo is such a bad role model for Black women and how they intentionally push Black women with bad shapes and blah blah blah, and I couldn’t help but jump in.

I still think they should have recast the role. Aldis Hodge or his brother Edwin, Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, there's too many Black actors who could legitimately play that role to just give it up.
