When I was younger, I used to see those Tshirts that said something like “Age and Guile beat youth and ability every time.” Pretty much the case here, IMHO. Rossi stayed on his plan and Marquez started thrashing to get back up front. It looked like he was trying to use the “I’m going to get all up in your space and

I've been a round Laguna on a motorcycle. Nothing in the videos or games prepares you for the height of the Corkscrew. Feels like driving off the side on a four story building.

This! I'm 21, still in school and I just bought my dream bike. I probably won't be able to afford any of my dream cars for years.

Beautiful. I have a Red/Silver F4-1000R that I occasionally just stare at with a drink and a cigar.

I highly recommend motorcycles to anyone who is willing to learn. I've joked with a lot of friends but seriously the best therapy money can buy is a motorcycle.

This makes me miss my CBR1000RR Repsol so badly.

When I was still in my 20s, I used to race bikes before I got old and went back to racing cars. My wife and I had been together for a while when I decided to sell the bikes and picked up (your favorite) a 944 to run in Spec. After a year-long build, I took the car out for a HPDE weekend at Buttonwillow.

As much as I dislike the series, I feel terrible for the spectator, as well as the driver.

I really dont see the resemblence with the Accord coupe you posted.

This needs to happen.

Less understeer than a Hellcat.

Being on the road fucking sucks and I'm not surprised at all that a fight broke out between people who have worked together for 7 years while hammered drunk looking for food after a long day of filming. That shouldn't surprise a single soul who has had to travel extensively for work, especially for filming. I've seen

Well...mark it down...this is the point that Top Gear UK has officially jumped the shark. While they will chug along and have viewership, that chemistry was what made the show work. Without the proper hosts (presenters) the show is as lousy as Top Gear US or any of the other generic knock-offs.

Do you think so? I thought they were just going through the motions. There were a few good moments, but it seemed tired. Like when they were having an "adventure" episode, they weren't really even trying to make it seem as if there was any real adventure happening. This is coming from a guy who has every single

I see my stereotype of those that drive Saleen Mustangs is carrying over to those that make them.

Bingo - it's a decent platform for this sort of thing. Porsche made the 911 to go racing, make no bones about it. Shoot, they even sold a few SC/RS-editions specifically TO go rallying. ("Rally Team Modified," per the article I was thumbing through on my internetless flight yesterday.)

I think the overreaction of off-road Porsches happen because:

The 911 has been winning rallys for a long time. best known example is Monte Carlo—3rd in 1967, and overall wins 1968, 1969 and 1970.
