"So much depends upon the white chicken beside the red wheelbarrow." Wm Carlos Williams

Adam was called in by Quinn, as a ploy to get Rachel out of her relationship with the new show runner.

David Simon is not involved in this series. Some people he's worked with (cast, screenwriter) are however.

Simon isn't involved.

Plus when interviewed by the police, the anti Muslim guy lied and said he was alone when he encountered the couple. His buddy's close-up, as he watched the pair enter the building, sure seemed threatening or was a red herring.

It's pretty obvious who the killer was on The Night Of from just watching the pilot. It will be interesting to see how "justice" is served as the story unfolds. It's a bit jarring to see character actors from comedies tossed into a serious drama; I think the story would be better served with a cast of less familiar

The AV Club's page views will seriously drop.

The chart doesn't link Jon and Dany as family members (Aunt and Nephew), although I see they haven't created a proper category they would fit in.

Freys not Greyjoys.

If the Night King is defeated, why would there need to be a Wall or defenders?

Nor would he be seated on the Iron Throne before his aunt, Dany, who is the daughter of the mad king.

So how does this faceless assassin thing work? Did Arya swipe a few faces before she left Bravos? Did she have to kill some young woman in order to use her face? Will she ever be able to done the face of some character who is still alive? Does the face make her taller, broader or masculine?

I can't at the moment remember who in the books might know if Aerys fathered Tywin's children (or at least Tyrion) Who on the show would ever be able to confirm that? I think there are those that assume Jamie and Cersei are also mad king spawn, but again who could confirm it? A Nursemaid? Some secret text in the

Dany is John's aunt. If the eldest child doesn't succeed to the throne, but is superseded by a younger male, then we have a problem. She is the daughter of the mad king, Jon is the mad king's grandson. Also, she has dragons. Jon has a direwolf.

Lyanna makes Ned promise not to tell Robert Baratheon, not Rhaegar. Robert pledged to kill all Targarians, including children.

The books are fun.

The only thing I want from Bran is him following Ned up the stairs to Lianna's "bed of blood." It would confirm R+L=J for the TV only audience. While that's what most book readers figured out back in book one, I'm intrigued by the more recent theory that Lianna had twins.

That prophesy was two seasons ago.

Can't see Jamie being back in King's Landing to save Cersei if he's brunching with Walder Frey. Unless he takes the Littefinger expressway.
