O.K., so here's the thing I don't get. Why would I, even if I purchased the game legitimately, not immediately start trying to get my hands on a cracked copy if I wanted to play this game? Okay, yeah I know, new missions and all that jazz. But seriously, it's just not worth it. My connection is crap, and all this is

Wait, Halo Anniversary Edition doesn't come out on this Tuesday does it? Sounds like Cabella's finally learned their lesson and Mega 64 won't have their traditional Cabellas vs. Bungie video...

The World Ends With You now, apparently

@Orionsaint: which is very ironic because this is the trial game

You know, I seem to remember a similar ethical issue surfacing when Prince of Persia launched a couple years ago (the cel-shaded one). As I recall, someone was mad because it didn't accurately portray Persia. As it turns out, Prince of Persia actually has nothing to do with Persia and takes place in an entirely

@oby: well, the psp go hasn't been cracked yet. I'm not saying their titles aren't playable on the psp, but if they supported the go a little more, maybe more people would buy them

you know, it disappointed me that the psp go, which has the potential to eliminate piracy on the whole psp front, has met such half hearted support. The way I look at it, if they want to complain about piracy, maybe they should support the platform that renders that piracy impossible. Just sayin'.

In other news, Sega finally decides to release Shenmue 3, which has been sitting in their corporate vault for the past 5 years.

Wait Owen, you're a big name journalist for Kotaku. Shouldn't you be rich by now and able to afford your own 50 acre estate? And for that matter, I was told that everyone lived in the Kotaku tower, where they lived their lives constantly playing video games and finding cool things on the internet for all the other

@jezz.torrent: Well I'm not too knowledgeable about programming for platforms, but isn't the 360 basically a PC with a hardware specific OS and an anorexic case? That's how I've always looked at it, and from that perspective, what Valve is doing here sort of makes sense. The 360 (if my assumption is correct)

@denki: but it still runs faster on 7 even on the mac. Point is, when the hardware is the same, supercomputer or no, windows OS is just a little better to go with right now.

And the best part is that this email is also receiving publicity that I'm sure GameStop doesn't want. I really hate doing business with them, but until they make more Play N' Trades, I'm kinda stuck going to them for all my previous gen console needs.

@majinjohnny: yeah, most definitely. the ironic part is that it would have more content than most actual magazines too.

This thread is now about that epic picture.

A site smaller than google hosting something pertaining to OOT being posted on Kotaku getting bogged down? Never would have expected it.

@Zerorush: Also, I think gamers shouldn't be "Punished" for their console choice, or for being a tales fan. I REALLY love the namco tales series, so I bought the special edition, but now, I have to invest another sixty dollars for a game I've already bought because I didn't do Namco a favor by buying their game. No,

man, I'd give anything to have that extra content as DLC... I spent way to much time in my 360 save file; and I'm not sure a playthrough without grade would be worth it... That, and buying a ps3 of course. That being said, I own every iteration of every tales game that has made it to North American shores so far, so I

@jmonthedude: Which is exactly why this article is receiving such harsh criticism. To report on something just because some may consider it offensive is sensationalistic. Although sensationalism is a staple of modern journalism, it can be used improperly; generating attention by stirring up emotions rather than
