Almonds, cashews, peanuts. THAT is the nut hierarchy. And if we are lucky enough to get a macadamia nut in the mix? Royalty.

Still wonderful. And should have been acknowledged.
I JUST had a conversation at my watering hole about THIS MOVIE. I do realize I’m in the minority, but I loved it. Romanticized the hell out of it and just fucking LOVED it. Watched it at least 3x in theater and endless times on DVD. The beauty of this one is not to be denied, the whole Art Deco style of the lighting…
And Elfquest, Elfquest. You stole my heart and never gave it back.
Batwoman, YES! SO MUCH GREAT. While Rucka’s Elegy kicked every ass, and also kicked off the series, Williams’ art (in Elegy too) sustained it for me. Seriously and literally made me gasp at times. That book is a lifelong top 5.
Eugene’s fat, too.
I’ve never seen Doremus misstep yet. His limited webseries The Beauty Inside was beautifully done. I’ll reserve judgment on this one.
Now my brilliant baby can cure his mom. GO Doctor Reid!
Yeah this was all old footage. Can we get a proper SEASON 4 trailer?
Speak for yourself! Anytime Hiddles wants to get naked for our benefit? Not gonna say no to that!
Crouching Tiger was the first dvd I ever bought. I LOVED Li Mu Bai and Shu Len and hated that he had to die, and agreed that both Chow and Michelle really SOLD the relationship, it was beautiful.
Cracks me up that people are demanding exact linear storytelling regarding Glenn’s ‘not-demise’, but willingly suspend their disbelief in general every time they tune in. Yeah, I was torked that they didn’t show Glenn for three episodes after all that, but I was also THRILLED he was alive (I was in the “DENIAL” camp…
Well. This sucks.
I couldn’t read through all 700-some replies, but I didn’t see Anne McCaffrey’s Dragonriders of Pern series. Instrumental in my formative years, and still a fantastic read after all this time. From the Weyrs, to the Holds, to Harper Hall (Master Robinton is by far the most interesting and layered patriarchal character…
I freaking LOVED this movie, and plan on going again. But I thought the twist you were going to discuss was the reveal at the end that it was all a book that Edith had written, calling into question that any of it actually happened. Was it based on Edith’s real experiences, or a conjure of her writerly imagination?…
