When every cop on the street is wearing what amounts to combat fatigues and body armour, what else would you call it?

So the “war on drugs” is over then? Cool.
You haven’t see modern cops recently, have you? In some areas they are better equipped than soldiers, but less well trained in the using the weapons.
Yep. File this one under “how to prove that the person who thinks you’re a cunt is right”
Only three other comments on this account, and all somehow more shockingly stupid than this one.
Egads, the missed opportunity for that manager to say that the employees had been placed on paid leave while they investigated the incident.
“Breaking News: Albuquerque Police Officer Eats at Burger King for the First Time”
To be fair some local enforcement agencies weed out for high IQ, which often discriminates against those that are capable of taking a joke.
This beer has way too much head.
Same cop later fatally shoots citizen in back for jaywalking on red and gets suspended with pay, only to be reinstated after the officer’s testimony that he thought the phone the person was talking on was a gun, is upheld due to lack of evidence to the contrary.
People with such a fragile ego should be fired from the cops too, if not actively weeded out before recruitment. Bunch of snowflakes.
From the Fox article:
It’s almost like treating the people you’re supposed to protect and serve as wartime enemies and constantly harassing them for victimless “crimes” results in resentment, weird.
the sandwich wrapper displayed a cartoonish drawing of a pig with a star that presumably represents a badge...the patties were burnt and the burger was of very poor quality
I’m all for firing the guy who did it, but you’d have the expediter wrapping the sandwich who probably actually did the drawing, and *maybe* the drivethru guy should have noticed the pig when he put the sandwich in the bag. The other 3 would have been, like, grill, toppings, etc and shouldn’t have had anything to do…
so he got exactly what the rest of us get at BK
I get the arguments against drive-thrus, but making parents unstrap their kiddos and wrangle them across a busy parking lot is not the answer.
I’m not a fan of drive throughs. Honestly though, I’d think they’d be more popular with younger people as they are less likely to have experienced that absolutely shitty intercoms that places used to have (and hopefully no longer do).
I’m pretty sure your BEV won’t use much while ... cough ... idling
