It’s not clear why the repairs were never made despite the notices.

Honestly for me, it’s exactly the opposite. I usually fly United, but I’ve only had bad experiences with Delta.

This could be the savior of VW! French cars come back, and suddenly, VWs are considered reliable again.

I loved the news. The news helped highlight the relationships between the three guys, which was the best part.

But, if it had a Toyota badge, a lot of buyers would just assume that build quality is the pinnacle of reliability and quality.

I think a lot of people are missing a huge point about this. These two weeks are the two weeks that central Virginian schools have spring break. Out of state speeders are much less likely to fight a ticket. This is absolutely a cash grab, 100%.

Dammit, I’m losing it!

Now all it needs is a Ricky Ricardo jacket and an autographed picture of Andy Devine.

You also get really good deals at a variety of places. I saved $20/night at a Sheraton I just booked.

2011-2013 they definitely decreased quality, but our 2016 isn’t half bad. It’s still a step above the competition, with the exception of maybe Mazda.

The Mk5 actually has an electric heater that warms up before the engine can, so you get hot air much faster. It’s a pretty cool feature.

I bought the Jetta Sport for my wife, who loves it. It’s not a sports car, but the 1.8t engine has a lot of low end torque, which makes it spry. It can also handle on ramps and off ramps at speed and feels very competent on a twisty road. It’s no WRX, GTI, FiST or FoST in the speed department, but it’s a lot more

“are they still using drum brakes in the back and a semi-independent rear suspension”

You should check out the Jetta Sport. That car has gotten zero attention from the various auto presses, but it’s the car that enthusiasts have wanted the Jetta to be since the MK5. It gets the wonderful 1.8t engine, a sports suspension like the GLI, and you can get it with a manual.

MSRP is $23k, but my wife and I

Have you driven a new Jetta with the 1.8t engine? It has a ton of low end torque, and it gets about 170 hp, which is a lot for that segment. The Jetta Sport in particular also gets a sport suspension with the 1.8t, which makes it actually a lot of fun to drive.

Considering a Rhesus monkey for medical research, which is more or less disposable, costs about $6k, that is phenomenally unrealistic.

I really don’t understand why they are allowed to be that loud. It’s absurd.

I agree with you on this. This is probably too nuts for the general public, like the Dodge Tomahawk was.

This is madness. Pure, unrefined, 100 octane madness.

Because they don’t care to feed their own populace.
