The new Texas Chainsaw Massacre looks fucking awful.

I did not know that. Honestly, he kicked my ass for a bit before I left for spring break and when I got back, I tried him once, died, and have since been just farming blood echoes to power up my character and buy a shitload of molotov’s to throw at him. I wanna beat him, but I just can’t seem to time him properly.

A phobia can fall under the ADA (so I was wrong in that respect). However, it has to be extremely severe and is dealt with on a case by case basis when it comes to the ADA. I deal more with educational and physical disabilities in my professional life. But i think it is unfair to compare one with say, a physical

There are ways to make the game easier up to and including an easy mode that would make the game more accessible for those with disabilities. They have been politely asking and have been told their thoughts don’t matter by fans for years. I work with and advocate for those with disabilities. Some I have worked with

I repeat: arachnaphobia is not a disability. Having that phobia would not qualify you under the ADA as a citizen or IDEA as a student. JFC, the things gamers with disabilities are asking for are not out of the realm of rational thought, but FS fans act as if people are asking Miyazaki to come to their house and walk

Are you suggesting I don’t work with kids with disabilities? (Cool, I’ll let my state DPI know that Kotaku user “JoshisBrutal” thinks my masters degree is fake.) Are you also saying that the hundreds of gamers with disabilities who have asked for different accessibility options are wrong for asking so? Keep in mind,

This is maybe my 7th or 8th time starting this game and trying to play my way through it. Still have never beaten Father G.

I mean, its not technically the firm definition of gatekeeping, but not wanting others to experience something you love in a different way is definitely a form of gatekeeping. Especially when you need never even have to play or use the options they are asking for.

The things you are discussing are not disabilities. Not a single person has asked to remove alcohol from a game because of an addiction or spiders because they have a phobia. As someone who works daily with kids with disabilities, you don’t get to choose what they ask for in terms of accommodation and accessibility

I’ve been trying everything. Probably just gonna end up asking a friend to come along with me. It is not worth my time to keep banging my head against this particular wall.

According to FromSoft fans, asking for an easy mode or accessibility options for people with disabilities means you are demanding things.

And every time somebody posts this type of comment, people who are asking for accessibility options have to explain to From fans that not everyone experiences games the same and to some even the lightest challenges of From games can be insurmountable. There is a sliding scale of difficulty, especially when you are

As someone who is determined to find a way to get good at this game (not very likely), I am struggling to even get to Father G to use this. The Cleric Beast is currently kicking the shit out of me every night. When I get to use this fucking thing, I am going to use it as much as possible.

Gonna be brutally honest. I was working in the comic book industry when the Rawhide Kid thing happened and I would love to actually see this. The blowback was ridiculous. Bonus points if you have the gay Rawhide Kid character played by a CGI young John Wayne.

That explains why I always do my RttS mode in easy and hit 100 homeruns a year. If I try it on normal, I would never make the majors.

During the winter months when it was too cold to go to the bars my old roommate and I would spend so many nights getting drunk and playing the shit out of that game. I miss it so much.

A drunk 23 year old me once got the code to get to Tyson tattooed around my forearm, dooming myself to a life of answering, “what are those numbers on your arm, you a big James Bond fan?”

Hahaha this isn’t dystopic at all. When I was laid off as the only staff reporter for the magazine I was writing for in the early-00s, they handed all the writing to freelancers to fill a weekly magazine. I was offered the same at a rate of $25 per piece. I politely declined. I was still on good terms with all my

Yup. As a teacher, our union has been weakened to shit. However, if we all decide to strike, the non-union employees (food service, custodial, administration) would not be able to do our job. It would effectively cancel all school.
