If I can give a perspective from someone who has a closer insight into some of the processes (I have a close family member playing D1 football at a P5 program). All of what you say they get is correct. They do, for the most part, get a good education and a lot of free services. They also work harder and more hours…

Oh totally agree there. He managed six days of service time last season before going to the DL with a strain. He is better now and at camp. I am sincerely hoping he makes the club out of camp and gets what he needs to be comfortable for life. He has earned every cent of it.
