Yeah, no thanks. I preordered on Amazon just in case the list ended up being enticing, but I’m not paying $100 for this. I barely even play my NES and SNES classic as it is.

But Britt McHenry is seeking something different. “I want,” she says, “to become a trusted voice.”

This is why I really enjoy reading your takes on here and occasionally discussing them with you. I know I am going to get a well thought out and reasonable argument. Thanks.

Yeah, I would probably give it to LA with Wisconsin as a state a close second. Third would begrudgingly be Boston with Brady, Betts, and Kyrie.

So every Wisconsin sports team has arguably a top 5 player in each professional sport that they have in the state (Giannis, Yelich, Rodgers). Can any other state/city claim this? Best I can think is LA with Lebron, Trout, and, Gurley.

I tried to play RDR again earlier this year before this came out and I only made it a few hours before the controls forced me to quit. The “hold A to make your horse go” is the worst part of the game. Especially after how much fun and easy to ride the horses in AC: Origins were.

Agreed in terms of Witcher 3. I have really tried to get into that game and like it as much as everyone else seems to. The game itself is gorgeous, but the physical act of playing it bored and frustrated the living hell out of me.

As more and more developers speak out, hopefully that can lead to meaningful change. I have worked in multiple industries that required some sort of extra work time. Working on a weekly magazine generally meant staying late every Thursday night before we went to press. It also meant leaving early Friday to make up for

As I said, “Don’t let the door hit ya.” This obviously isn’t the site for you then.

I am going to say this because I am tired of reading it in the comments of this site. If you think Kotaku has gotten too PC or like to use the term SJW as a pejorative, please do everyone a favor and just go away. You can find plenty of places that reviewed this game that will not comment on the work conditions at

At literally no point did I ever say or infer that.

Yeah, I am of two very separate minds on this. I was probably always going to buy it. That choice was taken out of my hands when a friend gifted it to me digitally. I do think the people who worked very hard on this should be rewarded and hopefully get decent bonuses for their work. However, no matter what, I do not

Yeah, I haven’t played this yet (obviously), but I think Fargo S2 could be a perfect parallel. That is a great way to think about it.

Absolutely fabulous review Kirk. If I may ask, how many days did you have to play and review this? It sounds like you had to crunch just to get this done, which leads me to hope instead that Rockstar provided a review copy early enough so you weren’t playing this game for 70 hours in a single week along with the

Awesome! I actually saw them in 2015 with Braid in Tampa. It made me feel 2o years younger and was a fantastic show. Four Minute Mile is to this day just a great album from start to finish.

+1 from my 1998 emo phase (I actually still have this album)

“Hey try not to suck any dick on the way through the paring lot!”

I tried showing it to my mom and she just told me to stop it half way through. I hadn’t even taken into account some of the things in the movie that might be triggers for people with upbringings that weren’t as rosy as mine was. I felt honestly bad after that.

Ari Aster’s first film was such a rare thing for me to walk out of a theater and feel I needed to talk to someone desperately about what I had just watched, but also didn’t want to discuss it because some of the themes hurt me so personally, that instead, I went straight to a tattoo parlor and got a tattoo from the
