Worked at a Hastings for 9 years. I know exactly what you mean. Either in the consoles or the game cases itself would be various dead bugs or all sorts of drugs or drug related paraphernalia. A solid 70% of items were always broken/destroyed beyond repair. Even after showing them their console was broken or the game

Good god I feel you on this one. Can’t even tell you the number of roach infested PS2s we took in. The worst by far though was when we had a horrible smell in the stockroom, turned out there was a dead decaying rat in a PS2 inside the port for the Ethernet adapter.

Used to do PC repair back in the 90's. My god. Some of those smoker PC’s were just the worst. “It keeps overheating.” was a common problem. I would open up the case to find every fan caked in tar & nicotine gunk, as well as every bit of dust the case had accumulated covered with the same. Got one with a power supply

What I always wondered about when I worked at GameStop is the analog sticks on PS2/PS3 controllers. They always came in with this stuff that was somehow sticky and also slimy, obviously not juice, and I’m not sure I even want to know what this mystery glue was.

I’ve been working on computers ever since they all came in that horrible beige “Platinum” plastic color. You could always tell whenever your user was a heavy smoker because of the nico-patina that turned a not-that old of a computer into a yellow ashtray of sticky hell. I eventually just told people to replace their

Laptops are the same way with cigarette smell. People bury their face in the screen and their fingers leave tar residue. It also stinks horribly bad.

LOL Terribleness.

Strong men also cry.

Thank you. Much love.

Hugs and my condolences.

Dwyane Wade😉

I don’t know anything about basketball. It may very well have been him.

I mentioned in another thread that I went to school with a Duwaney Duwaney... he seemed like a decent enough sort, but they all do don’t they?

Positive vibes coming your way. Sorry for your loss.

So sorry about your grandfather, hugs!

Also apparently watch out for Chris Christie.

This is one of the most idiotic statements I’ve ever seen. And quite the opposite of the reality of the employees of these companies. Not surprised to see you follow that idiocy up by calling people sheep or not as tech savvy as you...the arrogance almost matches the stupidity.

He wants to show them to his mom, because they’re his awards, mother. From army.

I lost my cousin last year...tell me it gets better...

Thank you for posting it - I’ve noticed that before, and I’m sure others have too. It’s a really awesome way to honor your cousin’s memory.
