I’ve read a lot of feminist writing, but the reason I believe a lot of it is ground-level experience. I’ve seen the tip of that mistreatment iceberg.

I always enjoyed when shitty men who wanted “a man’s opinion” on new games would go to my coworkers, who would then go “ask RoseRevolution, she plays more than I do”
My favorite story was actually when I worked at a tea store. Dude talked me up for about five minutes, then went, “You want to go for a cup of coffee sometime?” to which just dramatically gestured to all of the everything in the store until he got embarrassed and left
Yep! I cannot tell you how many times that I had a legitimately interesting conversation with a dude about video games only for him to go immediately into “please let me buy you drinks” territory after about five minutes. Like, come on, dude.
Confused But Loving,
Listen to the Doc on this one, friend. While it’s completely normal to find yourself attracted to more than one person (even within the context of a relationship), acting on that attraction has both immediate and long-term consequences for you, the person you’re with, and the person you’re…
Hey, you replied to my comment, send me your email address.
that’s because it’s not a Zelda game. it’s actually ‘Cooking Mama’ spin-off. the clues are there. dig deeper.
Especially one with eyes that look like gross little pink buttholes when they squint, which is always.
I’m pretty sure an Exotic Woke is a grass-type specimen. Or possibly a rock-type. Either way he needs nurturing so he can evolve to a fighting-type Woke Bae.
I’m working as well, but I’m doing little strikes inside the building throughout the day: I’m not answering the door (unless there is absolutely no one around), I’m not making coffee, etc. While my office is primarily filled with men I’ve always felt it was a pretty equal space, but I imagine that not pitching in on…
I work from home but still I have to work and I can not buy anything today because I am poor so yay?!
We tried to be cognizant of that in my city. We have events for almost 12 hours straight: teach-in from 9-3, student-led (but everyone welcome) protest and march with a more political bent from 3-5, and then a rally/festival from 4:30-8. Women who are able to strike could come to any/all of these (or hey, just take a…
I miss being in classes with almost all women. The whole atmosphere of the class is usually fantastic.
I love your solution to this! I think people are definitely coming up with creative and thoughtful ways to participate. For my own example, I’m a single parent who relies on a daycare full of (amazing, vibrant, hard working) women. I still dropped my son off this morning, and saw all the carers were in red. I talked…
I think it’s important to do what we can, and this is great!!

This is the only place I can stomach reading politics now
Louisiana would like a word with you...
I think the sound of a crisp pass perfectly hitting the blade of a stick is fantastic. It is also better in person than on TV.
If I was blind I would love going to hockey games for the sounds alone. It’s not just the skates gliding off frozen water, it’s the crunching hits, the atonal chime of the puck hitting the post, Sidney Crosby whining to the refs - all beautifully accented by the echo produced off the ice.
