Cordell and Cordell is in Tampa sports radio all the time too. I hated it so fucking much. So glad I moved.

Yup. I can’t even remember the last game that got me crazy hyped that I absolutely had to buy day one. I think a lot comes from managing a video game store for ten years and literally seeing hundreds of people buy into hype for games only to try and return them the next day. It happens. There are games I am excited

-1 for SJW use.

My worst foot-in-mouth story with a girl happened when I was a junior in high school. My sister (a sophomore) was a cheerleader and I saw her talking to this cute new girl in school who also was in cheerleading with her after school. I saw this as my chance and walked up to them looking for something witty to say to

Southern Wisconsin here and chili and cinnamon roll day was FUCKING amazing. You got to choose between chili and chicken noodle soup but no one ever chose the fucking soup.

As a 37-year-old who just started grad school and is in classes with mostly 22-year-old kids who just graduated, I say fuck you! I’ve already been asked out and that hasn’t happened in the real world since my divorce two years ago. I know I’m going to get asked to join and intramural quidditch team any day now. Let me

Excited as hell but no way does this game come out a year from now. I’ll be happy with Spring 2019.

To be fair, Bartman probably could have managed the Sox better than Ventura.

So much of this kid has been an absolute joy to watch for the past year and a half. So glad he is getting the national attention he deserves.

Completely agree. The last NFL game I went to was ten years ago and as I walked out, I said to myself “never again.”

It had its moments haha. The comic book industry houses a lot of secret, drunken debauchery. I started when Spider-Man 1 was released and left right before Iron Man took over and the industry became a shit show controlled by Hollywood (my opinion). I dabble in many geeky things and many non-geeky things. Comics and

Now playing

Crappy quality but made me think of this:

Yeah my niece, who I practically raised, is ten. Any comment made like that towards her is the last comment ever spoken to me by said person.

I would agree. I worked as a journalist in the comic book industry for a few years and there was a distinct difference between folks like me who loved the medium but had a modicum of social skills and the like and then there are the other people (and this goes not just for fans but for professionals in the industry

Yeah my issue with it now is that the things I grew up with that were considered nerdy (comics, video games, Star Wars, etc) aren’t anymore. I’m cool with that. I worked in comics and video games for a while so I love seeing them getting the love I feel they deserve.

I watch the fuck out of football every Saturday. My Sunday’s are reserved for hockey or baseball (or just getting the fuck out of the house) since those are my two favorite sports. I don’t have a favorite NFL team so I am way less invested in it.

People like this are why I stopped self-identifying as a nerd decades ago.

Not far into this game but so far I am loving it. It has the charm and humor of DQ that I have always loved and feels exactly like you said: a guided, quest-based version of Minecraft. I highly recommend it.

Yeah and I am in the same boat as you. I grew up a Cubs fan but my dad grew up a Braves/Brewers fan so I always cheered for them until they hit the NL. Now I have cheered for them as long as the Cubs are out and especially if it means screwing the Cardinals.

I went to college in Milwaukee and all my friends are Crew fans. This past year and a half is the first time I have seen them simmer down a bit on the “screw the Cubs” rhetoric. Even at the 7 games I took in at MP this year the fans were all talking about how they really like this Cubs team and are pulling for them.
