Come on now, that was uncalled for. You might be new around here, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but Eazy is far from an MRA or a Breitbarter. His posts are often contentious, but he's certainly not those things. And yeah, you probably shouldn't call a black guy "bro", or any variant thereof.

Out of curiosity, then, what would be your definition of rock and roll?

I don't disagree with that. I wanted Bernie. I voted for Hillary, but it felt like I was doing so with a gun to my head.

Fair enough. I wasn't sure, that's why I asked.

Yeah, that's a low bar. I don't disagree, but it's a low bar.

You know, I always found the moral of the story of "the boy who cried wolf" to be fucked up. At the end of the story, the wolf DOES COME, and everybody's shit gets fucked up because they ignored the warning. They ignored the warning because they didn't like the messenger. Maybe the moral of the story is actually that

I've said it before: Dave Grohl should have stuck to drumming. Amazing drummer, with a recognizable sound (even if that sound was basically "John Bonham for the '90s"). As a band frontman, he's generic as hell.

I would disagree with that, only because I've heard Stone Sour, and it turns out Corey Taylor and Jim Root are actually decent (not spectacular) musicians, when they're not acting the fool. But I don't blame you for hearing Slipknot and thinking their music belongs in a toilet.

Nirvana was also a revolving door of drummers before they got Dave Grohl.

Rock and roll is an attitude. Has nothing to do with what instruments you do or don't play. Yes, people who make folk, rap, country, or whatever kind of music can exhibit that attitude.

I'm a rock guy who made peace with the fact that not every musician in the R&RHoF is strictly "rock". I mean, rock and roll is really an attitude, isn't it? Can you really say that the hip-hop guys don't have the same attitude?

I pretty much agree with you re:Ivanka, but sometimes I do wonder if Melania secretly hates his guts, but feels terrified of, and imprisoned by him (and with good reason; remember, this is the guy who raped his first wife while dragging her by the hair). Isn't she pretty much a mail-order bride?

You know, I'm liking SNL's Trump sketches as much as the next guy, but you know who's also COMPLICIT in getting him elected? SNL. Remember when they had him host the show? Yeah, maybe they should also look in the mirror here.

You're so vain, you probably think this song is about you…

Face it, the alt-right is the real-life Project Mayhem. Why the fuck do you think they love the word "snowflake" so much? These guys want to be Tyler Durden.

Jesus Dogfucking Christ, his supporters are the living embodiment of Poe's Law.

The sad truth of the matter is that the Right doesn't CARE if you point out their hypocrisy. They don't give a fuck! They're big fat fucking hypocrites in so many astounding ways that their hypocrisies have hypocrisies, and it doesn't matter because they have fuck-you numbers, and they are completely amoral. Winning

Fair enough. I didn't mean to be patronizing.

Peace Sells, to me, was always a few great tracks ("Wake Up Dead", "The Conjuring", the title track), and a bunch of bullshit filler ("Black Friday" is outright tasteless IMO and not in a good way, the blues cover is crap, and the rest is completely unmemorable to me). Hell, I even think Killing Is My Business is a

I fully agree both that Dave is a total shithead, and that Megadeth was once awesome, but I wouldn't hold up Peace Sells as the go-to example of a great Megadeth album. I seem to be at odds with a lot of Megadeth fans here, but that album always seemed totally uneven to me. Rust in Peace was their masterpiece. I even
