"Everybody else was fucking around while Waters was the only one contributing creatively - but Waters was the dick of course!"

Roger is a misunderstood genius.

I actually like Radio KAOS for its unapologetic '80s-ness. Belongs square in a very certain moment in time, but is an interesting listen. It might just be a case of "So Bad It's Good" for me, though.

It's scary how relevant Amused to Death still is today, maybe even more so than when it was released.

It's not letting them off the hook, just that's it's good to remember that a) a majority of Americans didn't vote for this guy, and b) if it weren't for Russia's hacking, he wouldn't be in office.

Is it, in fact, confirmed that he has a history of drug abuse?

Same here. If I'm in a takeout place and he's on CNN (which the channel is always tuned to for some reason in every takeout place everywhere), I refuse to even look at the screen.

To be fair, that question stopped being a joke once we found out about the NSA. It's just kicked into high gear now.

All you need to know about that story: Sean Spicer denied it.

I'd rather they fight him now that DON'T fight him, but I dunno, should we really applaud you for cleaning up the shit you took on the carpet?

Like I said yesterday, they were a big factor in getting him elected by normalizing him.

The American people didn't elect this idiot. Russia did.

And yet, CNN was a big part of the reason he got elected, with their constant pushing of the false-equivalency angle and normalizing him as a candidate. He should be sending them thank-you cards.

Yeah, they even said that in the episode when Butthead was choking. Beavis was on the phone with the 911 operator and got distracted talking about some bullshit, then the operator said "You need to save your friend!" and Beavis, completely missing the point, said "He's not really my friend".

I saw Metallica twice live, in '96 and '00. Pretty decent both times, even though it wasn't their best era. First time was still on the Load tour, but they even played an early version of "Fuel".

Oh come on, you don't even like …And Justice For All? I can understand not liking the rest, but at least give that one honorable mention next to the Cliff albums.

I mean, one can make the argument that they did first, but others have done it better since. It's a valid argument. I wouldn't call Hardwired "derivative" though. If anything, it's a seamless marriage of their thrash era to the better parts of their more groove-oriented '90s sound.

You're not completely wrong about their behavior, but I could give a shit at this point. They're a bunch of 50 year old men who matured too late and have a history of making bad decisions. I accept this. I just care about the music, which I've always thought ranged from great to okayish, with one truly bad album (St.

"Bleeding Me" is a fucking great song, and my response to anybody who thinks nothing good came out of that era of Metallica. Anyone who dismisses that entire era of the band because it didn't sound like old Metallica, or because they only care about music that meets a certain "metal" standard, is a narrow-minded

Upvoted because it will piss off Lars and the fun-hating hall monitors.
