I would have thought cunnilingus parties are the opposite: planned for ladies, by ladies, and dudes don't even hear of them.

I met a guy like that at a party once. Brought some really good booze for everyone, was dressed all sharp, really friendly and I thought his jokes were hilarious at first. After about an hour or so I remember thinking, I am SO sick of this guy's jokes and REALLY wish he would STFU already.

It really does seem like the trendy Internet opinion du jour is to suddenly hate CAH. I mean, I suppose if I played it every day, it would get old fast, but the few times I played it with friends, it was plenty enjoyable, and there are expansions anyway. It is what it is. It seems to be one of those things that was

Meh, I never got too hung up on effects. It worked fine for me.

I mean, yes, they were, so in-universe it makes sense, but out-of-universe, it's plot wank that nerfed possibly Star Trek's most formidable enemy. Out-of-universe, the Borg deserved to at least go out in a much less anti-climactic manner if they were going to go there at all.

Wow, did not know that.

I think that they could have explored the fact that the Starfleet crew
are pretty privileged in this world, so they have the luxury of sticking
to their high-minded ideals.

"Year of Hell" was what all of Voyager should have been like.

IIRC part of the footage from one game (forget which one, NOT the Carlton Fisk Game) of the '75 World Series is also missing. I know this being a Red Sox fan, but many impartial baseball fans also consider it to be the best World Series ever.

It can't be impossible for someone with enough know-how to reverse-engineer the technology, can it?

And also, I'm not even big on the tech stuff, so this is just me being a pedant, but you CAN'T "film something onto tape". Filming something and taping it are two different recording methods.

SoCo, now THAT is reminiscent of college and bad decisions.

Dragon's Milk is my favorite knock-you-on-your-ass beer. I'll have to try this.

Knob Creek. That is all.

Well, was that sentiment wrong?

Every season of TNG had its stinkers, it really is just the ratio, and HOW good the good ones were.

I also think "The Neutral Zone" is alright. Slow, but the story is decent, and notable for the first time we see the Romulans in TNG. That moment when the Warbird first de-cloaks and we see that it dwarfs the Enterprise is pretty badass. Which, by the way, is an inconsistency in TNG that always bothered me. Seems like

My favorite guilty pleasure episode of TNG is "Conspiracy" from S1. It's so…bizarre, and unlike anything else the show would ever do again. It's also a diamond atop the relative dungheap that is that season.

This is very true.

"Yesterday's Enterprise" is the finest hour of Trek ever produced. EVER. It's kind of hard to get the full appeal of it if you didn't suffer through the shittastic Season 1, though. That episode was practically an apology for that whole season.
