I would pay Netflix an extra $1 a month for them to stop the auto-play trailers and commercials every time you choose something. I have to mute the TV while I look around for something to watch.

I would be glad to get away from MFP if my company’s health rewards program would accept Cronometer as a calorie tracking device.
Until that day happens, I guess I’m stuck with MFP.

So surprised that RaxXephon wasn’t mentioned.
It usually goes hand in hand when Evangelion is mentioned.
All 26 episodes are free on amazon prime right now.

1) Installed Intego’s Virus Barrier Scanner yesterday, ran it, all clear. Yay!
2) Virus Barrier Scanner ran scheduled scan today, found numerous instances of OSX robsnap.a, which is probably not a virus, but something to do with the photo booth app or some other picture taking application or process.

I am very disappointed in the fact that “Buckaroo Banzai Against The World Crime League” was not made.

This looks nothing like Major Matt Mason.

Goyer? Really? C’mon people. You are better than that. Throw your money away on someone else. Wesley Snipes made Blade wonderful, despite Goyer’s story, and he’s been living off that cred ever since.  Blade: Trinity should have shown you the error of your ways.

Totally agree with you on the Payne Lindsey issue. Each of his podcasts seems to limp to a weak and inconclusive ending.

But what do Freelee and Durian Rider have to say about this?

The Casefile series on Silk Road was wonderful as well. I wish Casefile had hit Somerton Man a bit harder, but then I listened to Astonishing Legends series on that unsolved crime and it scratched that itch. Good stuff.

CNTRL-F “Casefile” No matches.
Well this list is called into question immediately.

I listen to Rachel Maddow each morning on my walk, and it kind of drives me crazy and it kind of keeps me sane, if that makes sense. Crazy in that there’s always something new and stupid that is going on, and sane in that it’s good to hear that it is being investigated by the adults in the room and hopefully

If folks are looking for a beautiful, minimalist replacement for Evernote and all the bells and whistles, please take a look at Bear.

Excellent! The only thing that puzzled me is how quickly the bands turned powdery/gray/. I don’t know if that means I’m stretching them beyond their capability or they are getting ready to snap and poke my eye out, or what.

As Call of C’thulhu has been my jam since the 1980's, I must turn you toward Reckoning of the Dead’s one page scenarios. They are wonderful for a mythos filled one shot in as little as 3-5 hours playing time.

Has Giant Meteor formed an exploratory committee yet? Made any visits to New Hampshire?

We have a bit of a storm over in the #ttrpg community these days. Go to Twitter and look at the hashtag #abuseisnotagame is the best way to follow and get a gist of the major players. You will need a good cry and a shower afterwards, but the hobby and the conventions seem to be doing a good job of circling the wagons,

Agreed. I believe that toward the end, you would be throwing away things just to throw away things to hit an arbitrary number, and not a lot of mindfulness or thought involved.
