Just FYI for folks - I’m not seeing the sale prices in my Comixology Wish List, but if I go to amazon, type in the title, the sale price is reflected there.  Also make sure that the volume states that it’s for Kindle AND Comixology when you are purchasing it.  I’ve seen some that are Kindle only, so it wouldn’t show

I haven’t paid attention to the Rams since Roman Gabriel was their quarterback. Yes, I am that old.  Same for Sonny Jurgensen for the Redskins and Roger Staubach for the Cowboys.  Billy Kilmer? Troy Aikman? What?

I’ve enjoyed classical music on and off for decades, and when it comes to a good book to act as training wheels, I always recommend Phil Goulding’s “Classical Music: The 50 Greatest Composers and their 1,000 Greatest Works”.

I’ve used Scrivener for years, to plan my mystery novels, and I’m sure I’m still just scraping the surface of what’s available to me. For day to day writing, I use FocusWriter, themed to look like my old WordStar and toggled to make typewriter sounds, and I’m happy and productive as hell. Copy and past into Scrivener,

You people and your thin little lines. GO BOLD. 1.0. Papermate Gel Pens because I can use them to refill my Pilot Dr. Grip, which is the choice for the man (or woman) who wants something with some girth and some heft and some comfort.

As a 12 year old obsessed with Nixon and Watergate, who came home from school, grabbed a snack and watched the testimonies on TV, I am going to give this a big dang listen.

In other news, I love that travel/overnight bag in the stock photo above.

As an almost life long Floridian, I feel that the initial answer must be Publix, lest I be run out of town on a rail, but after comparing their prices for everyday stuff against Aldi, I gotta go with Aldi Forever. Publix gets you in the door with BOGO, but everything else, you’re paying ridiculous prices. They do have

OH GOD, I hate that “feature” with the heat of a thousand suns. Just let me scroll without watching commercials, for lack of a better word.

Fate Accelerated is WONDERFUL for one shots and pickup games.

I’ve been playing my personal favorite, Call of C’thulhu since the 80's and I love RPG’ing as a hobby. I would HIGHLY recommend that folks check out the /RPG subreddit, or, look for a subreddit for their own favorite RPG or one that they have questions on; folks are remarkably helpful there.

Whenever this happens to me, I always get on the chat with amazon and ask them to extend my Prime Membership by one month for the inconvenience. I have yet to be denied. Last year alone, I think I got at least 3-4 months.
Yes, I order a lot.

I’ve rekindled my hobby of playing table top RPG’s, so I spent a lot of time at r/callofcthulhu, because that’s my jam.

Testify!
I closed down Facebook, and my Twitter gathers dust each day.
These days I use feedly to gather, instapaper to read what I gather, evernote to save what I have read, and send out a monthly newsletter via the Chimp. No blogging, either.
I feel like a luddite in a way, and it feels wonderful.

Like “fetch” and “streets ahead”, please stop trying to make “Video How I Work” happen. It’s not going to happen.

Very surprised that Charles Soule’s run on Daredevil didn’t make the cut. It continues to reinvent and surprise us with the adventures of The Man Without Fear. The new Mayor Fisk storyline promises to make 2018 an even more interesting year for Matt Murdock.

I bought these just last week, but ended up returning them, as they would not stay paired to anything. Not my phone, my iPad, nor my MBA. It became easier just to plug in my ol’ reliable earbuds.

SO. BUMMED. I just paid full price for the C7 Router. I could have saved $30 if I’d just waited! CURSES!

Very surprised that there wasn’t even a mention of the Opera browser, and it’s built in VPN. Maybe that’s the training wheels that folks might need to get used to using a VPN. That, and it’s a great, fast browser.
