I haven’t seen a Quizno’s in almost a decade.

Not to mention that if there’s to be talk of ripping off, the Big Mac was partly a response to the Whopper in the first place.

I used to go there and get a footlong, and, together with 2 Cup Noodles, that was lunch for 2 days. Alas, now, Cup Noodles are nixed from the menu for health reasons.

Yes, we all live in the same sandwich/restaurant dense place you do. This town of 1400 people I live in has so many local joints I am simply paralyzed with options and go to Subway only because I have given up and only long for slow miserable death.

“Most of us have a good locally-owned sandwich shop that is just as easy to get to as a Subway.”

I know Busch Light’s pretty popular among folks who just need a cheap beer but aren’t desperate enough to stoop to what the college kids are drinking (which is often Natty Light).

Yeah, I know. I’m just in a mood and felt like off-gassing in a mostly-non-destructive manner.

“Hot dog” is the name for both the sausage itself and for the entire sausage/bun/toppings assemblage, so a hot dog is in a sandwich and also is the sandwich.

I can’t find the original article, but years ago, the Economist was reporting on the integration of Lambo with Audi. According to the article, there’s was a conversation in an initial meeting which was along these lines:

German execs: blah, blah, brand identity, core values, blah blah.
Italian execs, after listening

Ours was a burgundy four door. Broke half shafts every 25,000mi like clockwork.

Celery salt is the 🐐

Chili is the hot dog’s best condiment. But when chili isn’t available (like at Costco’s food counter), then I’ll reach for the relish.

You can still get a manual with a Tacoma?

Mini has suspended manual transmissions on all Minis including factory orders with no resume date set. Their manual transmission cabling supplier is in Ukraine sadly.

Too many slideshows now. Thanks for posting them

god forbid we just publish a list

Who had the Spark outlasting the Fit, Fiesta, Focus and the Golf?

mirrors make up easily 5% of overall drag... that percentage number is even greater when the entire rest of the car has a lower drag coefficient... may seem trivial but it’s easily the difference between 285 and 300...

Any luxury car from the 70-90's with the plush pillow top seats, basically a living room couch shoved into a Lincoln or Cadillac.
