Yes, any mod like this screams boy racer, even on a slow SUV like this. I like OEM rims from the factory.

Smart, plus R1S and R1T already have a Scout shape to them so an easy facelift at the front.
Rivian is calling out to be bought by a big legacy automaker. Maybe Land Rover, or even Toyota (can imagine an outdoorsy Land Cruiser sub-brand).
So just like all VW-based Audis then.
I dig it. In a world where cars seem to be getting fatter and overstyled, this feels like a refreshingly familiar shape with a modern powertrain. If they make a soft-top, what a great performance EV.
Wait a sec, you nearly didn’t include the EV6 because it doesn’t look like an SUV but included the IONIQ5 which you admit is a giant hatchback? Okay...
I’ll have a Porscha and a cheese kwessadiller please.
That’s a lot of money for an Audi Q7 that went to Nordstrom Rack. We just spent a week in France and our hotel’s house car was a new Bentayga. It was perfectly pleasant but our ‘19 Range Rover HSE felt more comfortable and just as luxurious in the back - and that was only $105k, not $200k+.
Coming soon to an insurrection near you.
All the stars for you
Because virtually nobody buys them
100% agree.
I have no problem with a sports car manufacturer making an SUV (after all, the Porsche Cayenne is 20 years old) but this design doesn’t feel very cohesive. I guess it’s better looking than a Urus and they’ll sell as many as they want to.
I used to commute this road nearly every day for 5 years between Hollywood and Marina del Rey. This street (La Brea) can feel like a mini-freeway which goes over the Baldwin Hills area. It is a really steep gradient each side and since she was coming downhill not hard to see how a Mercedes E450 could get up to that…
