My problem is the form factor. I hate small screens for anything more than a small amount of time, which is exactly why I have games on my phone. They provide 5-10 minutes of a distraction while I'm waiting on something else.

American Football was originally called football because it was played... on foot. Rugby, soccer, football... they're all related to eachother, and at a time when most sports were played on horseback, those played on foot were all called football, with variations such as Rugby Football and Association Football.…
My primary interest is the competitive MP side, and this game is a steaming pile of "eff that guy and that gun he happened to find". Pass.
I'll not be buying a Wii U until they find out a way to come into this century with regard to their online feature set. The dealbreaker for Mario Kart 8 was the lack of voice chat in game, that's ridiculous.
I don't see any wires coming out of it.
I'm excited. John Carmack is something of a role model to me in terms of his professional abilities (dude's a freakin' genius), but even he himself said that he has really only been interested in the tech side of things for a while now, I think it's good to hand off the reins then. Give me the same feel as Doom II,…
Winner: XBone given that they get the beta for Evolve first. Easily my most anticipated game.
In college I had aspirations of going into the game development field. By the time I had my comp sci degree, however, I had talked myself out of it for these reasons alone, it's been going on for a while (not exactly old, but not exactly young here either). Got a job doing development work for a third party logistics…
How to get all of them: Get an at-most 3 year-old Android.
That, or read the reqs... That should give you a pretty good idea. It's so easy these days anyway. I remember having to have a specific video card to play certain games, now it's just "Any card with 1gb of video memory, 2.0 ghz processor."
Do you have an opinion on how the public will take to this game? Meaning, do you think we'll see a lot of rage quits? Honestly while that didn't stop me from playing L4D2 on an almost nightly basis for years, it did end up hurting the game a bit. I feel like it could be worse here because if the monster quits, then…
Just moved to Plan (well, Allen) in February. Living in the midwest my whole life, I was expecting it to be like this article. It's not. I see just as many Prius's on the road as I do trucks, fairly certain people thought the Prius was some kind of commie plot down here.
Mmmm naaaah, Nintendo is still pants-on-head retarded when it comes to integrating this new and wonderful thing called the internet into their games. MK8 has no chat during races. That's honestly a deal breaker, and it's a shame, because it looks fun.
Bah, as the majority of my gaming time is spent shootin' the shit with buddies in different parts of the country, this game would be PERFECT if not for the "no in-game chat" thing. Honestly, it's a deal breaker. I really wish Nintendo would take the pants off their head and figure this out.
If we get to the point where there are a number of games like this, I could see this being a pretty interesting idea for health clubs or arcades. Go with a group of friends or just get some random people at the gym to play a couple rounds of virtual tag.
Having a system that can do both is not a problem. Nintendo's games would have been just as good on any other system as they were on Nintendo hardware. Rarely have their gimmicks added anything noteworthy to the experience.
I enjoy using my Kinect. With a recent move to TX, I'm quickly learning I'm not ready for this heat, so XBox Fitness is turning out to be a nice way to get active while staying in the air conditioning. That said, this could be a good thing. They might take some of those older properties of Rare and have those guys…
Free != good or worth my time.
This is a perfect example of why the "We have mods" argument that the PC crowd pulls from time to time gets a big snort of derision from me most the time. This is cool, I guess, but having this doesn't make it a better game than it previously was.
That 30,000 for an average wedding figure always amazes me. Not knocking anyone's wedding, but it certainly is possible to do it for less. My wife and I spent 10k on ours, and 6k of that was the honeymoon.
